Did anyone try calling or emailing someone from the central bank to see what they say why the website is down? When you look at CBIRAQ.ORG under godaddy it lists the contact information and email address... i'm too chicken

today we have had rate changes within twenty minutes of each other. The computer monitoring the CBI caught it automatically and then poof! The cbi site is parked to the present time.

We hear of secondary rates within the profit margin percentages from Chase, which we have observed for quite some time [though its robbery to see how much banks are trying to charge]. Plus the banks would have to have fore knowledge of a rate change so the report fits.

Three emails from a dealer site confirming the rate changes an offering what amounts to a flimsy explanation for so-called mix up. Listening to the bright bunch of folks here it appears at least to me that the excuse has little merit. Did someone get a call demanding they defuse the situation or else? I have no idea yet we know that happened before. The CBI site has been purposely parked. I run my own website and can update on the fly so this lengthy hiding in the shadows is a red flag.

I’ll speculate the obvious, there’s something there they don’t want us to see.

Ok tomorrow, will we see an auction? If the suspicions are true then there is no way. If there is then well this is just a weird bunch of events, the weirdest I’ve ever seen since I got into this.

The site could remain down until they’re ready to reveal the rate. I think this is what will happen.

What does this add up to? Heck if I know but I’m going to watch it carefully. Timing is ripe article IV, hcl, revenue sharing law, FIL ICI. Oil summit on the horizon . Wild ride yep, nearing the conclusion? I think so.

Maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but I remember about a week or so ago that Neno posted a rumor(can't remember the details) about the reval being within 75% of the real rate that equaled to the $2.41 price. I realize I'm grasping at straws here but consider your point: If indeed they based the reval on that consumer price index rate of $6.86, 75% of that rate is about $5.14. Personally I'm happy at whatever rate they decide, but over 5 buck goes above and beyond all I could ask or think! Fellow forum members I leave you to comment on my theory, or tell me to shut up and keep my day job.

Well it could be...I gave an enormous number of donations to the sperm bank for beer money when I was in college...so you never know!! LOL
