A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face... then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"
A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty."

All banter and allegations aside, DannyDinar's assertion seems plausible. I've had similar thoughts for quite some time now and here's why:
Consider for a moment that it happens as he suggests, to one degree or another. All of the sudden the Iraqi's have some buying power which gives them greater access to foreign goods and services. They're already starting to turn on the insurgents, and a reval would/should help put them to ease. It's also the fastest way to get rid of the Americans.
Since the security situation would improve, no need for troops and so many will be able to return home. Or, perhaps, they could be replaced by UN peacekeepers. So now the Americans are happy because many of their soldiers are now home and the Iraqi's are glad they're gone too.
The US cashes in and the deficit is lowered and Social Security is saved. Fuel prices drop because we now have more production coming on line that we also have access to.
Politically, it's a windfall for the Republicans and sure to help them during the next round of elections. I don't think he believes the House can get the majority vote to overturn a troop withdrawal and so he's emboldened to continue on as he has. Should things start to fall apart, he'll finally let the Demo's in on the big secret, or they may know now and just be posturing.
In the meantime, he has been putting pressure on Maliki to get things done and Condi is soon on her way to Egypt. He's also been fast-tracking Iraq to gain them entry into the WTO since the day after the initial invasion. So, as unlikely as it may seem, it at least seems plausible and would be one of the greatest political coups of all time if it even comes close. JMHO.

There is no need to get heated and post hateful/aggressive personal remarks towards another member on this forum just because he/she posts their speculative thoughts on the prospects of this investment, even if you feel the thoughts are regurgitated information.
Some of us have been involved in this investment for over 3 years, and others, just stumbled accross it yesterday. Some of us have read the same information and speculative rumors a thousand times, and to others, these are first thoughts.
I think it's time for some of the veterans to take a step back, think about how much information/thoughts that they had regarding the dinar when they first stepped into this investment, and act more like mentors to this investment, and less like gate keepers to the Holy Dinar Grail.
Just my two Dinar's worth...Last edited by Caviar Dreams; 28-04-2007 at 07:53 AM.

why dont you ease up off his A$$. attacking someone in a post like this, calling them names, and trying to embarrass them, simply because you dont like what they have to say, is childish. im tired of people like you who think your the post police. could you have just as easily said,"Bush does have a bs from Yale and an MBA from Harvard F.Y.I"? your entire post was a moronic statement.
some may wonder why i stuck my nose in it, well i happen to know roninjotown. he's not on here to bash anyone, or make them feel stupid, like the handful of forum nazis weve got, he just wants to make a little bit of money like everyone else here.
some of you people, i swear, need a serious nap
lets see how much childish bashing i get for this onemoney cant buy happiness, but you can rent it for a few days.

i could care less about any 'spotlight' as you profess. actually, i am into helpling people understand this investment because i have spent about 15 hours a day for 2.5 years reading everything i could get my hands on about it.
i am offended by some smart aleck who hasnt done due diligence and strolls in here braggin about their investment savvy and how much they know about the dinar and you dont know diddly compared to the majority of people on this forum. you and dr. dinar the supposed expert at dinar who could fill what he knows of it in a thimble.
the worst part about helping people out here is the damn spotlight and the fact that you are scrutinized for sticking your neck out and trying to help someone. you can keep the friggin attention it garnishes.
mods, could you please remove my post count information?Last edited by shotgunsusie; 28-04-2007 at 11:20 AM.

your hilarious.........your no better than the guy you just criticized, you call him the post police, but you did the same thing to him..........and yes now I am doing it too
point is, this is a forum, everyone has an opinion, and when someone posts a stupid remark, he normally is gonna get bashed a little but the key is to not get upset. Just smile and keep on reading and posting.

Long term REVAL
Wow..... I only get to get on a few times a week now due to job obligation out of town. I haven't been in this investment near as long as a lot of senior members, but am (what I feel comfortable to say) fairly versed in the background of the Iraqi Dinar, the Iraqi people and country. I have just recently started leaning in the direction of the camp of long term REVAL. It appears Iraqi government is to split up and prejudice against one another and full of hate to even get along long enough to pass a few laws to help the country, people and YES even themselves. There is not one parliamentary person (in my opinion) that does not have a boat load of dinar to use for their retirement, but yet can not put things aside long enough to even help their own selves.
I must say I like most rumors and do enjoy reading them and think on the possibility of the said rumor. Sometimes they actually sound plausible, "BUT" I know they are rumors. Therefore I don't get upset when it does not happen. I find it funny that we even have a "Rumor section". It appearers most treat all rumors as fact no matter how out landish they are. When the date is past......the scathing attacks and firebrands are launched until hope is renewed with a "NEW" rumor. Then the cycle repeats itself.
Now I am firmly back into the instant RV camp due to the fact that it appears to me that a lot of even the "good" posters are at each others throat. So maybe an RV is just around the corner.
OK I am off the soap box.....Cheers and happy RV RV RV RV
