Iraqi Central Bank initiated a new policy to sell more dollars and obtain dinars to cover items from the national budget, which is in Iraqi dinars for the first time since 2003, sending demand for dollar higher in Thursday's auction.

After seeing this on the other thread am more inclined than ever that April is it and early April at that. There was more to it but this is all I copied.

Forgive my slowness, and correct me if I am wrong - but it just hit me (it hurts when that happens) reading the above that if the CBI wants to get Dinars for Dollars - wouldn't they have to equalize the value to get them to let go of the Dinars. If they RV at the right price I will give them back their Dinars, so they have to sell the dollars to US via an RV. Am I right?
Again, I can be too simplistic sometimes I know.

aprils rv was postponed due to lack of interest..
