Thread: My Sources Say, "The rate has been set".

This is not an exact science. In other words a+b doesn't = c. Iraq is a mess, their people are a mess, their government is a mess. When dealing with these things that are this messy, you can throw out logic and what makes sense out the window imo. The Iraqis need the rv, they know it, the cbi knows it, the Americans and the coalition know it, heck even their enemies know it. But this is Iraq we're dealing with. The land of the keystone cops on steriods, the land of rampant confusion and double dealing. I believe the rv will happen.... just don't know when.... for docdave's sake I hope it is before April 8th. Just a further note.... duck didn't say it wouldn't happen by the 8th, he just said there were some small problems that needed to be worked out.... that could take weeks, days, or even hours to work out imo.

E.g. We have read tons of articles after March 10th that Al-Maliki will do the Cabinet reshuffle in the next few days. Now, let's say this thing was not published in newspapers, but Jola had a source in Iraq and posted on March 11th that indeed Maliki will do the cabinet reshuffle that week.
The week passes by and the reshuffle doesn't take place.And another week passes by and no reshuffle...
Now you start bashing Jola, cause she posted that. However - the reshuffle doesn't take place as planned cause Maliki postponed it for political reasons.
Now, whos' fault is it? Kill Jola? Kill Maliki?

Please slow down when you get people posting rumours. Don't kill the messenger since he doesn't have the power to actually make it happen.
I gave you just an example with the cabinet reshuffle - was it a rumour? No. But it still did not happen...

Whether true or from a reliable sourse, it means little until it actually happens. I think it is safe to say, what has been said by many, it is always done before we ever hear confirmations, so what duck stated is true, it is done, but just like I have always said, we all hold a winning Iraqi lottery ticket, but we don't yet know the drawing date, nothing new with this rumor, same as all the rest, we just don't know when we will hear confirmation.

How is it that the "rate" is any more sensitive information than the fact that it has been set?

Well, what can i say, this is truly a nice rumor, lol. Although i don't trust rumors for some time now, but this one's getting me all excited cause of the new laws being passed and all the other info that's flooting around. I hope the Duck's right.

I agree with this 100%. Some of you people have nothing to add in any posts and yet, when someone steps out to say what they know all we get is a rash of bashing. With all that is going on why couldn't this be true? None of you that are bashing have offered anything to dispute it. Duck has been around much longer than most of you.. Even Mr. Knowles, who I used to respect, had to throw in his little pennies worth. Get off your freaking high horse and just enjoy the rumor. Some of you do not deserve the blessings that you are about to receive through this investment.
