If you don't believe what we say, research it youself by going to Joel's Coins website or go to Hoffman Mint website...bottom line is they are not Official Iraqi Coins!!

The person who was selling them on ebay. Said he heard, that they would only be accepted in the Kurdish north. We would have to ask our Kurdish contacts to confirm this.....................

Of course, Kurdistan extends into Iran and Turkey. These Coins were minted in Limited supply every year since 2003 by Hoffman Mint in Carmel, CA , so I doubt you will find too many of them being used as Legal Tender in Kurdistan.. They are not Legal Tender Iraq.. I would have liked to have one of the 2006..100,000 Dinar Gold coins, but I believe they only minted 150 total Proof coins.. But, they are sold out...

Well i don't know, I'm italian but I can't speak a word of it, though I do wave my hands around a bit when i get excited.....
It seems that the state insists, or preserve the value of the Iraqi dinar 148 against the dollar ...Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states [ MOF Sept 2006]
