pantv8...as easy as you say it is for the naysayers to stop and not read all the positive news coming out of Iraq it is just as easy for all the ""POSITVIE"" people with all their RUMORS to avoid the naysayers....it is just as easy to "AVOID" all the naysayers as it is suppose to be for the POSITIVE rumor people with their so called 'contacts' to know what they r posting..this is a forum...not everyone will agree with what everyone posts.....especially with all the so called rumors that have never panned out....if you don't want to read what someone negative has to say,just pass over it...this BS of going anti just because someone does not agree and voices his opinion is so stupid.....we all have a right to disagree....as long as we keep it civil,it should not matter....and to be really honest,none of these so called rumors has panned out...have they...i don't bash the rumor people...they shoud'nt bash the naysayers just because they have a different opinion...this is just my opinion....hoping for a revel this week at a good price.....GO DINARS...Pat

Though everyone, myself included, will watch the Forex and CBI this Sunday and Monday, the point of the rumor was not that it will RV Sunday or Monday...SGS's rumor did not state when the RV would happen....Just that it had happened. Lglwzd explained it best.

Several sources indicate that an RV, along with an amount, has been agreed upon and will be implemented....We, however, can only guess as to when it will happen. I, for one, believe it. It matches the way they have done things lately.

The best examples are the FIL and the ICI. It has already been clearly stated these laws/agreements were completed and approved months ago. However, they have not implemented either...But they are DONE, and that is a fact. We STILL do not know when they will enact them. But the point is, as is the point of this rumor, they are done.

The rumor is that the RV is done. The remaining issue is when will they enact it? I might add, I believe the HCL is done along with ALL remaining issues. If you remember, the day they announced the passing of the FIL, there were SEVERAL articles, that same day, which stated they had a little while to go...Just like this HCL.

I wish everyone would just relax and smile. This is really going to happen! To the amazement of the general worldwide public, something extremely positive is about to happen to those who dared to bet on this so called "disaster" called Iraq. It could literally be any day now, but it's for them to decide. It cannot come soon enough for the Iraq people.

Like everything nothing is cofirmed. We know what we know! Do you honestly think they will hold an Oil and Gas summit to disucss the new HCL and negotiate contracts if the law has not already been passed! All will be revealed! Do you believe that they will handout payments to displaced families if the handout did not have purchasing power! Why else would you handlout 100,000 dinar if it was not going to be worth atleast 100,000 USD. Especially since a new house costs anywhere upwards of 127,000USD. What would 78USD buy a displaced family??

I think he was asking for a real answer not an opinion which your statement is. As much as I want this to be true, statements like yours are not helpful. By now all of us know the Iraqi Gov. is a Mickey Mouse operation & nothing can be taken for granted.

This probably sounds stupid but does anyone know if the handout is going to be a check from the govt or is it going to be in the form of cash?? Seem more sense for it to be a check. If it is a check I wonder if the checks will be post dated...meaning a date they can cash them in on and not a day before........Anythoughts??? Tank

Wasnt really stating my opinion but more so the obvious! But then some people dont or have not read every thread or post like me, or read the marshall plan or read the Internaional Compact for Iraq. Or maybe some people cannot see the similarirites between what Germany did and what Iraq is doing? As I said in a previous post if it does not happen within the next two days it will. As for the handouts yes they are supposed to start on Saturday! Whioch would mean the rate would hopefully change on Sunday or Monday?? Time will tell and good luck to all!
