Don't worry, Snottynose there is nothing to forgive. You honestly thought this was something new.

One thing I noticed though was the reference to the announcement on tv that we saw referenced in another set of posts. Too bad we were never able to really get a definitive answer on that as to whether it ever was on the tv or not. Due to lack af being able to confirm it I think we all wrote it off as false, but here is another reference to it from a different source ( I think).

For what it is worth,

I hurd from my Kurd contacts once again, and they still have not seen one instance of the minister with two piles of dollar and dinar saying it will be the same. He has watched every news report over the last few days and called about with no verification, so it was just another goose chase evidently.

hey there, i don't know if you remember me or not. this is bill in AD Diwaniyah Iraq, you sent me a message a couple of weeks ago. anyway i was going to start a new thread but this computer wouldn't let me so i figured i would send it to you instead. as i said in the post that you replied to i am in AD Diwaniyah i have many iraqi workers that had been getting excited about the dinar increasing in value so they had been changing all thier U.S. $ back to dinar. i have asked them to keep me posted as to the word on the streets localy and well today a few of them came to me very excited and said that the banks here in AD Diwaniyah are exchanging the U.S.$ into dinar for 1200 to 1 and that the news had announced that the dinar and the U.S.$ will be equal after a few important anouncement within the next few weeks. now ofcourse at that point i freaked out! i have been scouring this forum and every other damn dinar link i can find everywere and cant find anything along these lines. the only thing that i can really find is the rumors about a reprint of the money and yes i do believe that is all they are RUMORS! i can't remember the timeline but i am sure that Iraq had to sign agreements with world bank when they changed the dinar that they couldn't change it for a preset time. anyway i haven't let any of my family or friends know about my dinar investment and i got so excited i had to share this with someone, i hope you dont mind. see if you can find anything out through your channels and keep me posted please. thanks bill"

Oh well! Increasingly, it is becoming evident that stories are being fabricated to hype the situation with the dinar.

With the passing of each rumour and fabricated story, investors surely must be getting wiser by the day. In due course of time, such fabricated information and rumours will be treated with contempt if they aren't already by now.

This is our year folks! No, this isn't a rumour but I hope at least it is! Pretty fed up with the waiting...
