HaHaHa, you don't know the half of it! Oscar is great- all but my first order of dinars have been in cahoots with him. I thought about trying to "tidy" this one up.
Well, that will have to wait for now. The phone rang- I answered and it was Oscar. He said "You're not going to believe this! I just now got a call from my dad." (Me: You mean he called from Chicago?) "Yes. He was asking me if I heard all the news reports about what's been going on over in Iraq? I started to tell him not to believe the news reports- and he cut me off and said that's what he was calling me about- that most of that is just not true! And then he told me that he was talking to a personal friend of his that owns a small bakery there in Chicago. Dad was discouraged by all the negativity brought out by the media and was lamenting the fact to the bakery owner and wondering if the dinar would ever be able to have a decent value. The business owner replied... "Ray, Ray, Ray... I sure hope you haven't sold your dinar- did you?" Dad told him he hadn't. Then the business owner said, "I have a lifelong, personal friend over in Iraq". Dad went on to explain how the bakery owner gave him the name of the religious leader of the people that were allegedly doused with kerosene and torched- but really weren't- as was exposed in the AP fraud. The owner then started to explain what happened, then broke off and said, "I'm going to call him right now and have him talk to you." Which he did, putting him on the speaker phone! It took a bit of doing, but finally this guy was on the phone, talking to the bakery owner. (Al, cutting to the chase), The bakery owner said, "I have a good friend here with me. His name is Ray. He has purchased some dinar and is thinking about selling them because of all the bad news he has been hearing from the media lately. Would you please explain to him why he should hold onto his dinar?" The following is Dad's interpretation of what the religious leader said over the speaker phone- in broken English.... "No believe newspaper... no civil war! No bodies burn! No sell you dinar! Revalue come soon!" Needless to say, Dad was very impressed that the bakery owner- his friend- was able to get ahold of someone of such prominence, and was greatly encouraged as well as excited by what this man said- broken English and all! Dad not only called me (Oscar) but also Chip (Oscar's brother that lives in CA- the one that has a son and daughter-in-law that are both in the military- the d-in l who is right now over in Iraq... who just sold 9 of 10 million dinar she had- the one that I started to straighten out the story of and tell the other half of the story! That will have to wait until later or tomorrow.) "Needless to say, dad is really pumped right now!"

This is a rumor and I'm stick'n to it! Just 'cause its a rumor doesn't mean it ain't so!

I am in Chicago and I just wanted to add something to this. My mom knows a lot of people - especially arabs - here in Chicago - who did invest in the amounts of tens of thousands of dollars into dinars. They are small business owners from Chicago area. They have relatives and so on in Iraq or vecinity countries. Just wanted to let you know that , while we are some 300 people involved into this here at RC, there are a lot of other people aware of this! ...Who? Especially arabs. Why? cause they have the information. What kind of information? First hand. Not from newspapers, not from TV...you know what I mean?

So, yeah, we are on the right path!
