Also that would give me a little extra time. When the reval didn't happen last weekend I felt very disappointed - so to pick myself up from the ground I decided to make use of the chance to buy more Dinar. And I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to open up an account with Warka Bank and deposit some funds there. I emailed them on Sunday afternoon - and received my details the very next day by noon!

So far so good. Unfortunately when they gave me the numbers of their banking accounts in Germany for funding they forgot to mention the BLZ (=Bankleitzahl). I need that for money transfers within Germany. I immediately contacted Warka Bank again, plus both of their German banks, but none of them cared to answer me yet... Of course there are registers on the internet listing the BLZ, but as long as I don't know the correct branch that won't help me either!

So I could well use another week! :-)

Is that like the Swift code? In my email they gave the swift codes for each of the bank options listed...I used the bank name/adddress, acc# and swift code, and that was good enough...

A friend of mine tried calling Chase yesterday regarding purchasing dinar and was also told 'no.' He didn't ask about selling.

No, the Swift Code is only used for international transfers. For remittances within Germany I need the "Bankleitzahl", which is a special 8-number code in this form: 123 456 78 (the first 3 numbers are the area code, the second group of 3 the bank, the last 2 the branch - or so....). If I've got the wrong BLZ, the execution of the payment will be very much delayed and the money might even be rejected and sent back to me. That depends on the person who is dealing with it.

    I'll find it out somehow...

Most banks, you have to go in to. My sister-in-law called the bank where I got mine, they told her "no", on the same day that I went in and got mine, so don't always take a "no" over the phone as an answer.

I forgot, but wasn't it said somewhere that Warka has their own swift code now? Are we able to send it directly there?

We celebrate Boxing Day in Australia. It's the day after Christmas, the 26th of December. The Canadian Boxing Day is probably the same.

The articles with all the good news, laws etc are good - but they are WAY above my understanding; both economically/ politically and linguisticly (since English is not my native language)...

So I want a new ,fat, juicy rumor to dream about!!!
Preferrably with some degree of plausibility

God knows I need this reval now...
And I want to start partying!!!
