Valuation of the dinar should reach .02 - .05 (2 cents to 5 cents). Within 6 months. I don't have any secret sources, this is just a gut instinct / guess based on number crunching.

With all do respect in my opinion your estimates are way way way too low...It will reval AT THE VERY MINIMUM 1:1 I always have stuck by an at least 1:1 reval but now I believe it will be much higher. This is all personal gut feeling...I cannot back it up. Based on all the articles and debates and information rumors and facts...that the reval will come in to PEG with the euro and at least 1.25 or better. I believe it will show up on exchange first with announcement immediately after. So, it will already be in effect and everybody is not out buying or stealing everybody else's dinar....just my opinion...According to a recent article that was posted on this site they have certain obligations to meet by October 1 which would be Saturday night no later than 11:59 p.m. or they risk losing U.S. funding.

Charmed do you know where it is stated that they will loose funding if they don't either inact the FIL or revalue. I have looked for a couple days without finding anything on it. Thanks!

Ok guys, Rockfish and his buddy rentonrolr have managed to get everyone to argue for the last 6 pages about who's right and who's wrong. If everyone would just ignore them and not respond, they will get real bored patting eachother on the back, and go back under the rocks they came out of. This will be my last post on the subject, because all this bickering is starting to sound just like the forum a lot of people left.

We will all be happy in the very near future.

I never ever have brought this up, I was in the war zone the first couple of months, then took a security detail for the US Ambassador Negroponte before finally returning home... Enough details on that!!!

I, along with 5 other security personal accompanied the Ambassador to purchase 20,000 USD in Dinar in early 2004...
He told us to get as much as poss with our own money and that someday it will be worth 10 - 20x what we paid...
He also explained how Bremmer himself purchased over 200,000 USD worth, gosh I guess I should not be telling this but oh well...
Just don't like the Dumb white kid from the subs thing, and from what you are saying I'm dumb and was also in the war zone, is how I took it anyway...
