To all GetawayClub Full Membership Accounts..
I have copied and pasted below a post the GetawayClub Admin has posted on the GC forum...

This is a new feature to prevent scammers from stealing your Full Postion GetawayClub account(s). When you logon to your account.. go to "Your Account" and then "Your ID Documents". Allowed file formats: gif, jpg, tif, png, pdf, doc with a maximum size of 5MB to upload your documents for account verification.

If your GC account shows VERIFIED:
then all you need to do is upload a photo id from your computer.

If your GC account shows NOT VERIFIED:
then you will need to upload a copy of the VISA or MasterCard and a photo id that you paid for the position. For your protection.. show only the first 6 digits and last 4 digits and blackout the #s in the middle for your protection.

If you do not have a scanner to upload your documents online.. I am working with the GC Admin to have a fax# to send to.

For those of you that paid cash to someone else for them to use their VISA or MasterCard... please reply to me with the username... and I will work with the GC Admin to get those accounts verified. Once they are verified.. you will need to send a copy of your photo id to claim the account.

Co-ops members.. Lucky's Team will notify the GC Admin that the Full Positions that we purchased for you... were paid for by us and you will only need to upload a photo id to claim the GetawayClub account.

Hi,

In order to speed up our payouts, we have now added a new section to the members area under YOUR ACCOUNT, called YOUR ID DOCUMENTS.

Please use this section of the members area to send your scan of photo ID (and credit card if you paid for your account by credit card - please be sure to hide some digits but leave the first 6 and the last 4 showing - or hide the 3 digit security code).

This form in the members area will be used instead of emailing your documents to the admin address.

For those members who have already emailed your documents, you don't need to upload your documents with the form.

Members who are waiting to have a payout request filled, please make sure you have sent us photo ID so that we can verify your account.

Some members of Lucky's and I have run into a problem when trying to upload verfication documents when using the jpeg format. The jpeg format doesn't work even though GetawayClub has it listed as one of the formats it will accept.

It comes back with an error message:

Error: The file extension of your document is not allowed.

It works best with gif format.

4 more days til Christmas Eve! WOW has it been busy here getting ready for Christmas... cooking and shopping. I thought I finished all my Christmas shopping yesterday.. augh.. but forgot a few people.. so back to the stores to buy a few more LOL!

Perhaps Luigi's can hold off on serving your meal until the end of the party - the days are so short this time of year - or else package everything for take home in little foil swans. Will that work? Meanwhile, I've arranged for members of Overeaters Anonymous to sit farthest from the dessert buffet and pregnant women will get the table closest to the restrooms. Did I miss anything?
