Hello, all. A few of us from another forum have set aside a specific time for all to pray at the same time for Iraq and all of the delays with the dinar...If you want to participate, you don't have to be online, just pray at these times.

• 10:00 P.M. Central time
• 11:00 P.M. Eastern time

• Saturday, April 28th
• 12:00 noon Pacific
• 1:00 Mountain
• 2:00 Central
• 3:00 Eastern

Tammy P.S.all are invited to pray at the same time. In particular, I will be praying for our President, his staff, our troops, and all the people who might be involved in making major decisions for the dinar...for all laws to pass without delay, and whatever else needs to pass without delays!

Please pray for the family and friends of Pastor Tori, a Mighty Man of Valor who has given his life for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Iran.

Jesus said in John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

What a great honor it would be to use some dinars to totally provide for his wife and children.

An Iranian convert to Christianity was kidnapped last week from his home in northeastern Iran and stabbed to death, his bleeding body thrown in front of his home a few hours later. Ghorban Tori, 50, was pastoring an independent house church of convert Christians in Gonbad-e-Kavus, a town just east of the Caspian Sea along the Turkmenistan border.

Iran's President: 'I Will Stop Christianity in This Country'

Ahmadinejad declared that the government needed to put a stop to the burgeoning movement of house churches across Iran.

He’s to dumb to know that he is fueling an explosion of Christianity in Iran. Man has been trying to stop the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ since they killed Jesus and then the apostles. All persecution does is cause the Gospel to spread. Trying to smash the Gospel is like trying to smash a ball of mercury with a hammer, all it does is explode it in a hundred different directions.

Dave, thanks for sharing. This is horrific news. Puts my own problems into more perspective...I will pray for that family. It's interesting, our soldiers are laying their lives on the line for our country, and there are God's soldiers laying their lives on the line for HIM. He was martyred, and will have great rewards awaiting him in Heaven.
