We burried my granddaughter at a cemetery and spot of her own choosing under a beautiful ancient oak two fridays ago in Raliegh, NC. She passed at home in the arms of her daddy.

Her funeral was quite an affair. This child made us all humble. She managed to display her incredibly sunny disposition and gigantic spirit through unbelievable pain right up to the end. She was treated (like a guinney pig) for four years at four different hospitals around the country. At least two members from each hospital staff including 3 doctors attended. There were people she met on the airplane while flying back and forth. There were people she met at Disney World. There were people who read about her in the paper. Her light touched everyone she met and even many she didn't meet. That light may be out - but the past radiance will shine on! BIG LIGHT.

We're regrouping, doing a little bit of healing ourselves and getting ready for the wolves.

Please, be nice to each other. According to our Lord Jesus, and most of the other Prophets, we're ALL going to live forever whether we like or not. And again, according to all the scriptures - some places aren't nearly as nice as this one. (IMHO) Jihad, ours or theirs, won't SETTLE anything. Only LOVE will. That's what Erin told me too.
