Largo!
The financial world has been in constant change since money was invented!...but how naive to think that the force of gravity will change.
You have to invent a completely new mometary system to accomplish your dream. Your paradigm is most likely not around the corner for another 30-50 years! To those of you that believed in Bryan's dream, my only comment is that financial freedom can yet not be built on dreams!....but only on the basis of traditional financial mathematics and good investment timing.
The man in the street has and still will be part of the existing financial force, but only a very few has and still will be able to enjoy the dream (financial freedom) you are talking about.

Largo,
your view regarding this new financial world is a possility....
I believe BM will restart PIPS....
IMHO PIPS should use a diffirent currency, instead of the USD,
it should use the EURO, or the Japanese Yen.....
It would make it easier for participants other than the USA members to move
their funds, staying away from those C&D, funds would not have to be
cleared by the US Federal Reserve ( tru the US banking system )

Interesting,
Good point, the EURO would be fine with me, but the real question is not which currency to use if PIPS returns, but where is the currency, does it exist, did it ever exist? At this point in time it is nothing more than monopoly money, and as to if PIPS returns in any form, that is a mighty BIG IF in my opinion.
Good luck to all, Mike

I feel the same about waiting . I won't let it bother me if nothing comes out in our favor . You could say I'm at "peace within" upon the whole situation . Deep down there is a part of me that hopes pips will come back in one way or another but if it don't I'll move on with no regrets. I was living just fine without pips before & all I ever got was hopes & dreams from pips. Overalll this experience has opened up my eyes upon other ways to make money besides my own sweat & knowledge . well this is just mho

Wanting your money back.....
You have to understand that the future of PIPS is in the hands of BNM
Until BNM releases their findings, nothing will happen, move in any directions,
we all have to wait for the completion of their investigation, BNM's investigators
don't have to tell us anything about their work or progress, all PIPS members
are at their mercy.....
the following links might help you to understand...

Hello Fellow Members,
I'm back again after a week on location for my job and am reading all of your reactions since my last post with lots of interest.
I would like to make some things clear about the eventual action we are able to take.
I never talked about sueing BNM, but to hire a lawyer that represents Pips members and will eventually keep us informed about the progress of the investigation.
That attorney can also deposit a list from all members who are joining this action, with the amount they invested (proof of wire or payment of course), so at least there IS a list of members that claim their money back and we don't have to rely on the data that was seized only. At least we have an extra trace.
Questions like
- at what stage is the investigation and what are the exact charges
- what are the next steps and how much longer will it take
- how much funds were seized
- are the seized funds invested and where
- can Pips members ever hope on a (partial) refund and if yes how to recup
I think most of you would like to receive answers on these questions, which doesn't interfere at all with the secrecy or speed of the investigation.
Why should answering these questions slow down the progress of the investigation? Thinking that is totally unrealistic and proves that we don't care about what is going on or about your money they seized.
What does BNM think actually? Why should they speed up or even inform us since NOBODY ever asked them in a MUTUAL (think UNION!) and OFFICIAL (attorney) way.
Malaysia in not the jungle and they do have laws and obligations too.
Would you sit down and wait if this happened to your regular savings account by fear that this would slow down the process? No, you would be hanging on the phone several times a week and JOIN the first group of action that presented itself.
Would a US or European bank treat nearly 200,000 investors like that? No, because several press conferences would have taken place already by a spokesman of the bank or a law representative.
I think we have the right to know what happend to OUR money and WHAT to expect and WHEN.
We are not going to war with BNM, but are citizens that stand for the right on receiving official information from an institution that seized OUR money.
Thanks for reading me and sorry for the typos.

Some of you make me want to hurl to the heavens.
Absolutely unbelievable............... And when BNM doesn't answer you, just how do you propose to "force" them to do anything but kick your sorry representative to the curb?
Methinks some of you have been reading too much Style and Owen (S)Platt lately.
Silent but not gone.......
