Anyone who claims "Bryan and Sharon are working their butts off" for PIPS, without a shred of evidence or authority to back it up, would be a highly dubious source of any other "knowledge" having any useful value or truth.

Why not create a new forum for such half-baked "history"? Here, it's just another diversionary tactic -- such as the "always keep them guessing" tactic of the 'humble diversions' ilk, or "dazzle them with myths" -- roads that lead nowhere paved by folks either in denial or bent on spreading mistruth, a tactic that starts at the top of the pyramid and seems to have infected quite a few.

Well SoulSurfer why don't you set up a forum for whingers like yourself and then start your own company and make 2% a day for them all.

I was merely making a comment that the forum which started as a place where Pips members could come to for news about their programme (and speculate and offer conjecture if they chose) has been joined by many whose pleasure is to antagonise and ridicule those people who believe that the programme may return and who have other agendas of their own.

My point is that when it does return the ones who enjoy the baiting part will have nothing to get their teeth into and will leave.

The Pipsters will also leave unless this forum is a friendly and enjoyable place to visit.

Agreed when the the irritating element does seek more fruitful pastures it will make Rolclub a bit nicer, but as there are already other groups where the genuine friends of Pips and Bryan and Sharon meet without having to wade knee deep through negative mire, will they stay here or not?

This question was intended quite genuinely as a friendly alarm call to Marek.

There is a perceptible difference between being a genuine Pips friendly forum and one where lip service is paid just to keep the ratings up.

Marek has recently stated strongly that he is in the "pro" camp. If he can persuade all his staff to sing from the same hymn sheet and mean it then there may be a chance to staunch the flow of ratings blood.

Continued application of a styptic pencil will I fear be insufficient, surgery and sutures may be necessary!

Just because we criticize Bryan's attitude or because we are uncertain about PIPS return doesn’t mean that we have our own agenda. We are PIPS members, some having enormous $amount hanging who knows where. So we have the same interest for PIPS to return as anybody else.

If you consider that by expressing out opinions we are antagonizing and ridiculing others, doesn’t this imply that the others are antagonizing and ridiculing us by stating their opinions?

Did you ever think that positive ramblings without any support or against any evidence makes a forum the same unfriendly and unenjoyable as the negative unsupported rambling?

Decent, sensible arguments should be accepted and tolerated both ways. History proves that the totalitarism doesn’t works and that the progress is born out of contradictions.

The suggestion regarding the pyramids sounds stimulating enough to take my mind off PIPS for a while.

I don’t know how did you come up with this conclusion. Some members suggested to MOVE the thread into a more appropriate section as the title is misleading and is not PIPS related. Some others (including me) replied to some specific parts of your post (the ones praising Bryan’s hard work to bring PIPS back and asking not to question Bryan). Some others explained that you should have expected some divagations to arrives, as you mixed 2 different issues in the same topic.

They seems reasonable comments and suggestions to me? No one wants your thread to be deleted, and if you wouldn’t included the PIPS references in the first place, nobody would argued (except maybe some requests for the thread to be moved in another section).

As for me, I don't care if the thread stays in this section or not, and I won't interfere in it unless comments about PIPS are made again and these comments will strongly disagree with my beliefs.

It is entirely clear. Either there are rules or there are not. Either people respect the rules or they try to abuse them for their own selfish interests. Your choice: Either this forum has honour and respectability or it doesn't.
