Perhaps I wasn't being clear. I am not asking why we could not get our money out of Picpay (even though I tried way before the August raid). The question is: For the many that have money in Picpay, this was no longer considered subject to the risks of the commercial marketplace, numerous and varied as they may be. So, as I have a screenshot of my Picpay account as of August 14, 2004, then I can rest assured the money is still there?Originally Posted by kevo

History
Hello all,
I was asked by a good friend MichaelR to come and contribute to this thread about some history of pips info, but unfortunately it took me almostv a week to get verified (thanks everwiser for helping to do so)
So as a long time pioneer - and proud to be - let me know what members want to hear about and I will try to help!
I joined PI in July 2002 and then Goldenwomb in Dec 2002...
I Joined the 2% program in October 2003...this turned into pips in Feb 2004
I am pleased to be part of this community and wish everyone the very best!
Sincerely
PaulM - pips pioneer

hello PaulM,
great to see you here and I dont get her much but i can verify your credentials both as a veteran and a person who has a wealth of knowledge and has always provided sound and informative info in the past. Like you I am a long time pips member who misses the friendship of some wonderful people.....some who have moved on such as granpa Jack and of course others who have remained loyal and in a lot of cases in the background.
Good to see you alive and in the forum and thanks for coming by and making yourself available.
best wishes,
PaulSpablo58

Off Topic HR
Sorry about this...I inadvertantly merged these threads before moving them here for being "off topic". I tried to neaten them back up some...EW

Our heads must have been moving along similar lines back then as those dates are about the same to the month of my involvement with Bryan's programs: I joined PI a little earlier and GW in November of 2002ev, and got involved with the 2% in Oct. of 2003ev as you did. There's been so much history since those days gone by. I think it's time we establish a new Pip's history, one that will do much better than just pick up where we left off. We need to address the asset and privacy protection aspect for any new Pip's operation, and how to best repatriate the earnings in such a way as to not set off hundreds of SARs, i.e., "suspicious activity report(s)," from local banks in the U.S. and elsewhere. The banking situation is worse, not better, than it was when Pips was brought under investigation. We still need these issues addressed by Bryan in no uncertain terms or we'll be right back into the fire should Pips get cleared to operate again. To this end, I openly encourage and invite Bryan to jump right into this conversation, including the one about Pip's history detail in the "A Humble Request (merged)" thread, and share his thoughts on the matters involved...reasonable disgruntlement among various members notwithstanding.
Best regards,
