SoulSurfer said: That said, I am not sure that BM will be heavily punished for this, in fact perhaps not; as has been pointed out many times here, people "loaned" him money of their own free will. So he may be back, but I think people should be wary of him, IMHO. end quote.
If BM only had the pips issue to deal with then perhaps you would be correct in thinking that he might get off the hook easily, but picpay is another matter entirely. Picpay was operating essentially as a bank. That 'money' was ours. The pending withdrawals were ours. Those dollars were not supposed to be "at risk". Failure to get those dollars to their rightful owners will have to be considered a crime. When the BNM investigation is complete, there had better be money available to pay those accounts off, or someone will more than likely go to jail.

People speculate too much. If anything was found wrong by BN, Pips situation would be anounce long ago. So just sit tight and wait for good news.
Using common sence and intelligent logic you must conclude that Pips return is just matter of some short time. Nobody knows when, but it will.
I hope everybody is patience, even so 7-8 months looks long time.
The best part is we learn from mistakes, and new Pips will have better approach how to run business, and who to trust.

I would be thrilled to just be assured that our Picpay funds including the WD's are safe. To my knowledge I don't know if Bryan has ever confirmed this specifically, except to say that we all "will not lose out" and frankly I don't know what that meant exactly. I know that Bryan's in a situation where he is not communicating due to BNM's investigation..really, I do get that. But in speaking to a number of other faithful pipsters it seems all are wondering what possible harm there would be for Bryan to simply speak to the Picpay issue and put everyone's minds at ease? I think it's a fair question, and certainly an issue that ALOT of investors are concerned with.

Every day that this goes on without PIPS being given the "all clear" is a sign to me that the return is very much unlikely. I hope I am wrong, but in my opinion, things do not look promising. It is a good thing that I accepted that it was over a while back and moved on. This way if it miraculously makes a come back, then that is one hell of an awesome surprise. If it doesnt, well then no big deal, I have already accepted that.
I still have a "little" hope left, but that too is passing with each day.

The whole thing appears to revolve around PICPAY.If history is to be repeated, pips is lost and will be replaced with a new model. Not quite so easy with PICPAY.Backed by gold means we should get paid our withdrawals
Bryan has updated on the lotto and says he is still working on the BNM situation.
We must unfortunately wait for the verdict.

Interesting,
Think about it, here we all are with a thread of hope still hanging on even after not being paid for over a year, simply amazing. I can hardly beleive it has been a full year since HI, and we are still here hoping our dreams are still alive.
It takes an amazing people to still be hanging in there after all this time, so who knows, with todays lotto news, it will keep the hope alive for a little longer, but I do wonder, where is the breaking point?
I can only imagine how we will all look the next time we meet, with ten foot arms from hanging on so long, all bent and out of shape fingers which have been crossed for the past year, egads, what a horror story ths will make. Quick call Owen Bratt. LOL
Good luck to all, Mike

My opinion (yes, it's only opinion) is that if the investigation into Pips was a "slam-dunk" it would have been over a very long time ago. I'm not saying that BNM won't find anything wrong. Regulators can find something wrong anywhere they look or go (just ask any company in the U.S. about an OSHA visit)...The questions will be whether or not the Pips business entities and/or the Marsdens intentionally or unintentionally defrauded anyone. I honestly believe that we would have had the answer to that within the first few months on the investigation. The longer the investigation goes on, the more BNM will find but if there was anything devastatingly serious it would have been discovered by now.
