We have a pretty good transportation. You can get to one state to another via interstate buses, rail or plane. City to city transport varies with the best in KL. States such as Penang and Melaka, you'll probably have to take stage buses or mini buses or taxi cabs which are abit uncomfortable and the latter expensive. You can rent bikes or bicycles in Penang or car if you like. No such luck in Melaka though.

Penang is an island state. You can take the scenic route via the ferry at Butterworth or cruise along the Penang Bridge. Here there are beaches for fun and frolic. Shopping for the ladies and young women. Some decent watering holes and just about the best food in the whole of Malaysia!

Try satay, rendang, nasi kunyit and a host of other delicious food await you. I'll provide you with a website link later.

From The Mitten.....formally known as Michigan. Like Indiana (neighboring state), four seasons to enjoy, my favorite being spring and fall. Surrounded by four large lakes and we have hundreds of inland lakes of all sizes. If you don't like the east side of the state (most populated), drive to the west side....less populated and beautiful scenery (particularly in the fall with all the colors on the trees). Third largest state in America for golf courses (go figure, with only 6 mos. of golfing weather).

It is snowing here in Middle Tennessee, USA. Everything is quiet and still. The horse is at the hay roll and the two dogs are sleeping on the nearby couch. What a blessing, so nice to be on this side of the ground today.
