If you want to tap into your own connection, buy yourself a set of Tarot cards and handle them yourself. Do your own set of cards and think about what you need to know while your handling/shuffling them. Then use the book that comes with the cards to interpret for yourself what the answers are. Do this enough and you'll soon be "in touch". There are other methods but this is one of the more simple ones...

Welll this is getting interesting. I do know what you mean about psychics taking your power away. The power you already have inside yourself. I don't think it is right to influence someone when it can set up an unhealthy dynamic. We really aren't meant to go to a psychic to tell us what to do. We are meant to live our lives and make our own decisions whether we think we are using our intuition or not.... BUT I have to say I do get information from psychics ONLY because I have a strong sense of my own truth and also a strong sense of how things work. It can be helpful in a way, like if you need counseling or want to bring up something but not something you would ask another person about, if you know how to use it... The people I know that do get readings usually know how to take it... But I do know what you mean. I can really mess a person up under certain circumstances... Live and learn, I guess...

Everwiser you are really a cool cat... I believe in symbolim and signs... so you can imagine I have a T deck/s.... lol.... You must be quite intuitive. ;) That is a good suggestion for those who feel led to pursue it...

hey I'm having a good time here.. I don't get that bent out of shape about psychics and all... one way or the other. I know it can be very unhealthy for certain people... they have to live and learn. As for myself and what I believe to be true... is,... what is highest and best is to come into your own sense of your own power and truth. That way whether you go to a psychic or not, you know what is true for you! I think there is an aspect of going to a psychic that can be very helpful and ok to do... But like yawl are saying, a good one helps you to come into your own sense of self. Now one could go to a counselor and get less for the money so there is also that aspect of psychological help, too... But I'm not selling going to a psychic, to me it's not an overly serious type thing.

BUT as far as the magic ball goes... YES I TOTALLY BELIEVE EVERYTHING THE 8 BALL SAYS!!!!!

No seriously, I thought this all was a lot of fun. Sometimes to ask a question it sets the mind at rest even if it isn't necessarily the end all be all...

Thank you very much for your compliment, however, I can't take all the credit. If it weren't for my wife, I wouldn't be nearly as "in-tune" as I've become in the last few years. She's very intuitive and spiritual and I have always been intuitive and analytical. She helped me get "in touch". We make a great team (especially when playing cards, LOL). I look forward to the day when we can all get together and "share" over dinner, drinks, and games.
