Anyone who "helped" anyone get into PIPS after the backlog began without explaining the situation indeed deserves punishment, but it was nevertheless a private transaction (cash to picpay) and has nothing to do with the authorities.

However, those who explained that there is no guarantee that payments would be coming through any time soon placed this responsibility on the other person, and are less responsible. This is a matter of your own conscience. If the person looking to buy picpay was a sophisticated investor and understood what he was getting himself into, then thats another story.

Personally, I think it depends on the individual situation but I find it immoral to have cashed out on another persons investment without offering them a refund after a certain length of time of nonperformance.. I don't think any laws would have been broken here, but it is up to the individual to bear the guilt and responsibility.

I think anyone who argues this point obviously has something weighing on their own conscience...

Life seldom gives us a "do over button". When you make any loan or investment there very rarely is a "do over button", most adults should know this. If a person doesn't know the risks, they shouldn't be investing. Many people, including many in this forum are not savvy investors.

Simply put, a experienced investor, knows and weighs the risk involved, understands the nature of business, and has the patience and the stomach to wait for things to come about. A savvy investor accepts loses as part of the game and knows when to cut his loses or hang on until the investment turns around. Mostly, a good investor doesn't risk more than he can afford to lose.

I am a daytrader, when people ask me to invest money for them I refuse, not because I don't want them to prosper, but because I don't want to hear the whining when they don't make money right away. I don't let my wife watch me daytrade because I know she doesn't have the stomach or the patience to handle it, besides she makes me nervous.

I wonder what is going to happen when these inexperienced investors acquire their new Pips wealth. Everyone is asking Bryan, when, when, when. I can't help but think that when Bryan reads this forum, he must be asking himself if his Pipsters are ready for the good things he has planned for us.

Early this morning Bryan was on this forum for a couple hours, if he didn't care and Pips was a scam, he wouldn't be here. To me Pips becomes less of a risk everyday. It's going to be a great Christmas.

    Blan8 and Luckydog...Excellent posts!

If anyone should be guilty for doing an exchange it should only be those who believed the program was never going to pay, so aggressively solicited others into the program (without telling them there were any payment problems) and took their money in exchange for Picpay. But only those. And even in those cases, the person they brought into the program was still 100% responsible for doing his or her own DD. And since last December, anyone coming into the program wouldn't have had to do much DD to know that there were payment problems, and then they entered with their eyes wide open. Ultimately, there is no one to blame if they joined knowing there were problems. Personally, I would never join a program having payment problems, unless I truly did not care if I ever saw my money again.

Most who did exchanges did so in good faith. It is not their responsibility to pay people back. Actually, it is PIPS / Picpays responsibility, not any individual's, for people not getting paid. And hopefully, in time, this will still be remedied by Bryan. Those trying to blame the exchangers really have no one to blame but themselves for not doing adequate DD.

lets just wait for bryan to come with more information on when pips's new structure will be back. Blaming each other is not what i think is going to solve anything at all!
