I think a lot of members have joined Pips "through other members" and if Picpay dollar isn't guilty, that would be a dissaster for a lot of people... Members who had reffered friends and Family members through their Picpay would feel terrible if those didn't get a cent back just for using wrong payment method... just wounderings!

Sorry about this problem. I am sure BM will not honour those 'dirty' accounts. I am very lucky to start my own PIPS account using my very own credit card. It went through successfully so I know my account is very clean! As clean as it can be!

Sorry to hear about your problem. I feel comfortable knowing I started my account, and added funds at the beginning with my checking/VISA, so my account was paid for instantly, in full, no charge backs. I did help a few others get in along the way, including my parents. So PLEASE, OH PLEASE, let it be so that those accounts are honored, or I will have to move V E R Y F A R away from my family and friends..
Not to make light of your problem Milkshake & Enigma, there are so many unanswered questions that only time will sort out. Let us all hope and pray for the best for all of those who have innocently been "taken" by those less than honest.

But I think I bought "Clean" PicPay...Have ONLY been buying PicPay from a very good friend of mine.
Anyway, he said his PicPay was clean for sure! If the Picpay is NOT"dirty" then my account will be fine or... ? :)

It must be, because a lot of people must have been buying Pips Accounts through friends and family ;)

What is the difference between clean picpay and dirty picpay? A friend of a friend sold us his picpay for real money. Which would my be? This is making me nervous.

There were a lot of people who bought in with credit cards and bought others in with their credit card. They kept the real money that others paid them to get them in and then, after the accounts were generating real income, they did charge-backs with the credit card company and got their initial investment back (most credit cards allow up to six months for you to initiate a charge-back). The accounts however had accumulated funds before the chargebacks occurred and they would roll those earned monies into even more Pips accounts. At that point they were generating real money from the real money that the accounts had generated but had charged-back the originating funds with the credit card company so in effect had gotten something for nothing. I'm sure this is not the only example of what was going on but I think it is pretty close for a lot of the cases...

If so many people were using picpay to start an account and add money to their accounts, then PIPS was not taking in new money. Could this have caused the problem? .

NO.......that would only have been the case "if" PIPS was a ponzi, which it clearly isnt!

    Wink Just a thought

At first, sorry my bad english. :) I also joined PIPS with a credit card, so I'm not afraid my account is "dirty". But my thoughts on the PICPAY issue is that why should the funds be dirty if a friend joins through your own PICPAY? A PICPAY account that's got clean ROL into it? Many members joined the last months when VISA/MASTERCARD was NOT an option. PIPS still had the option to open accounts through PICPAY. So if you are buying a second account for your self or helping a friend of yours to join the program it should not matter. This was the only opportunity at that time. If PIPS was afraid of letting new members join without "Fresh" dollars, then why would they not remove the "JOIN WITH PICPAY" option also? They didn't, and that is a proof the PICPAY money had the same value as VISA money for PIPS!
I don't understand why these PICPAY funds should be claimed "dirty" eather, 'couse PICPAY was only a "waiting-hall" between cyber-money and real dollars. Just like any other payment form like E-GOLD or NETELLER etc.
I can't really see the difference between PICPAY and the other mentioned. They operate in the same way. It's only cyber money until the funds reach your bank account.

Of course this is only my oppinion, and if I'm way wrong about this, so be it!

I really think, and do hope BM will sort this out into a solution that all members will be happy with!!. VISA or not...

We must keep praying for BM and his wife, couse the light is getting brighter every day! If we don't let him down, I'm shure he won't let us down!!

Could have back ups I suppose..........

This was my concern but in one of Bryans post a couple of weeks ago he said the good thing is somewhere there's a back up for everything
