Hi guys,
I just thought that some of you may be interested in what went on here in the UK a couple of days ago.
A guy of 18 years old admitted on national radio to cheating in his exams, and bluffing his way through an interview for a job with a bank. Needless to say, he got it.
When questioned about it, he said that to achieve any sort of success in life you have to lie and cheat your way to the top, and without doing that you will get nowhere, and be a nothing.
What a sad state of affairs we must all be in, if this is the attitude of a new member of adult society - God help us all!
Peter

Nobody would make a comment like that unless, they were lazy, narcissitic and raised by people who should not own a goldfish. You say its sad, and it is, but you have got to look at it from this angle as well. this young man learned that behavior from someone and somewhere, and thats truly sad

There's a cure for that....
Peter, nice post and definetly food for thought....
There's a cure for that state of being......not that I do this so well myself, because I don't, .....but I believe it is written someplace that if you...."walk by the spirit.." we won't fulfill the lusts of the flesh. But then I guess it's Soooooooo hard to live in the world the way it is TODAY, that we can just rationalize these ancient laws (of gravity) away just do what we need to do in order to survive......yeah ! That's withat it is.....forced survival, so anything is OK ! (excuse my sarcasm) My mind says,...."Yeah,...lie, cheat, steal, get what I think I need now(lust) ...it's ..All good...cause that way I won't have the consequences of the bad stuff that might hapen to me....if I don't kick it into survival mode." I'm a school teacher of 30+ years and I've seen a lot of this kind of thinking in the youth of every generation, every nationality.....where do they learn this stuff.....? Kids! They must just pull it out of thin air ...right ? They've got to be stopped before they develop into twisted adults like the rest of us."....false humility is like a vampire spirit, it sucks the life out of you..." JRS
