I like to gamble, after all, if you never take a risk, you will never be rewarded. I use to have a job, the so called safety blanket of security in US, but I quit and started my own business 20 plus years ago, and you know what, I was called stupid, crazy, dumb, you name it, but I did it anyway. Well, to make a long stroy short, I had it made, was making great money, 5 weeks vacation, new company car every year, stock options, 401K retirement, pension, unlimited sick pay, full health coverage, I worked only a few hours a day, and everyone saw this as being successful, but if you are no fulfilled, appreciated, happy, etc, then why suffer for 40 years. The only stupid thing was I listened to all those around me and it kept me from doing it ten years sooner. (g)

Was that a gamble, yes, for many it would have been, but I knew that happiness was far greater than money and security, so I didn't regret my big gamble in life, and thankfully, after working harder than I ever did in any job, I started several businesses, and enjoyed the challenge of every one of them, and they all were not successful, but the ones that are will allow me to retire if I wanted, but heck, this is too much fun taking educated risks and gambles. (g) Oh, by the way, I worked for a top US company, Fortune 5 at the time, ever hear of TRW? Well, they are long gone, and so are the secure jobs all my fellow employees had, so was the gamble really a gamble? (g)

I am up to $9.2 million in dinar, and I sleep real well at night and you should as well. There is so little risk here that it will be fun to look back again and not say anything to all those who said I was crazy to buy dinar. The gamble and risk are the best aspects of life, win or lose, you can't win them all, but if you never take a risk, you are assured of one thing, a very boring existance with an uncertain future. This is life, no risk, no reward, so sit back and relax, this is going to be a wild ride off of Suddam's back, and I will enjoy this more than all the other wins in my life, why, because I enjoy being able to say, I told you so. LOL PIPS was no different, and hopefully this gamble will still pay off for everyone, but why put all your eggs in one basket, I am glad I never have, or it would have been a bumpy economic ride for me over the years.

Coin dealers are not currency investors, and besides, they want you to invest in what they sell, right? Nothing wrong with that though as I have invested in coins over the years and I am seeing a very nice ROI, if I wanted to sell.

As to the constitution issue, perhaps you can name an example? Currency was changed for one very important reason, Saddam's mug was on everything, so how would that go over given he was found in an underground tomb, or grave hiding? In addition, with the signs of an economic rebirth, they needed to update currency to the latest in anti-counterfeiting technologies. Now why do you think they did that if the currency was a scam, according to your coin dealer? This was almost too funny to answer seriously. After all, it cost billions in real money to print these new notes and coinage, so how could that be called a scam?

Technically, the constitution would have been mandating new currency in light of the former Saddam regime, but in this case, it was inevitable, so the urrency was changed immediately, but has not been officially PEGed, so when constitution is signed this month, then it is obvious what will follow. All currency from old Saddam bills to new have been completed. This in itself was a major undertaking, so don't think they would need to go through this again, unless you know of another invasion about to happen? (g)

I am confident that PIPS will continue. What has happened to Bryan & PIPS
is very unfortunate & unforeseen. As a Junior Member if I have this much
confidence , I am sure my Seniors who have enjoyed the benefits from PIPS
should have more faith & confidence.

I wish & Pray that Bryan gets refreshed energy & wisdom from GOD ALMIGHTY
so as to be a source of encouragement & Blessing to all PIPSTERS.

it is simply traumatic, but if so, well, let me think first but as long as good chances comes more perfectly and eventually worry-free why not? Any way, it did not take our breath away and probably not, maybe it only caused bad emotions, but out of it we learn things of different directions to where its us who can decide where we are to go and what are we suppose to do. Still, hope is the only valid way we are to stand for!

I have all the confidence that PIPS will Rise again and be better that before.
Hang on to your hats -- and help to keep this membership together as a group of good friends - you will be dealing with each other for a long time to come.
