Thread: The Marsdens (PIPs) Trial!

Gradually, more of you will come to realize, just what a carousel for YOU, we and all that were keeping an eye on this saga... were led onto.

Did we ever envisage this new twist as far as 9 months back??? This "Double Jeopardy" for the Marsdens as it now appears...is somewhat a poised approach...NOT by the number of those who pressed charges, but by the State and Legal to Financial Authorities in Malaysia that is doing, whatever it takes and needs to prove, that this is one long haul and lesson they want to display to the community in their country and it is needless to reiterate, for the international communities silently laying back but also eyeing events from a distance.

I leave the rest of the scenario to your calculations and improved assumptions but as far as assigning Batty to follow up unabated...we the Admins have no reason or doubt to hesitate what is necessary to keep track on this for as long as we can sustain...thanks to your support and donations we "now URGE" you to show and consider seriously...

Our earlier expectations to be truly confident, was hoping that donations contributed would set it within a month or two at the latest to reach a minimum required sum of almost USD$4-$5K, but that target was sadly not attained till today...

We are barely skimming close to $1800 all put together before the fees, charges and transfer costs etc are deducted...

Next, with this longer drawn out follow ups and covering on both fronts, separate court locations ...this will be stretching the target...but the target is nowhere there in the first place hence, reconsider and seriously figure the sums with todays rising costs...plus the dip of the US Dollar's value pitted against the currency that is needed to sustain the fact-finding mission.

Above all that again...we are now faced with yet another personal commitment....as I personally know of the Bat's family situation and struggle to keep the family, siblings and VERY tight budget he too has to sacrificed to meet his deceased father's wishes and his mother's concerns and sole dependence on him for almost EVERYTHING, making him very much needed around the home, his absence for us, for YOU and for the combine need to know as long as it takes, is an expensive drain both on his family and stress on himself...are we covering enough for that hurdle as burden he is subjected to on behalf of us all?

I have now to extend that long week of hotel stay for him, in November.... it's NOT a 3 or 2 star hotel nor a 5 star hotel either, I found a 4-star that is decent and comfortable and he NEEDS THAT for the least he is going through.

All I can say for the moment, we will urge you to consider your donating part, whatever sum you can least afford, is always welcome...

We need at least easily a minimum of 4 thousand dollars for surety.... please do what you can, thank you.

For those that said and posted that they have DONE so and in fact DID NOT.... please, don't DO THAT after this... you made extra work for me and also by those posting on requesting assistance to donate....blah, blah etc...that too cost extra time and stress waiting till today after the PayPal systematic requests were sent out... is that helpful to our cause???

We will do whatever to secure our ROLClub site from others,first & foremost, security comes first, to protect us, our interests and that includes yours too!!! After that, whatever it takes for not compromising your interests to jerks like the GFF Forum and their hypocritical supporters that post here and spent more supporting that GFF Admin at his forum (we all know which ones of you are actively involved), should not be given what they do not deserve while hiding behind YOUR genuine need to be updated ... We leave your better judgement in assessing and understanding our decisions when taken and handed out...to serve us all in the long run.

I don't know what other Pipster's think but Brian's charges look very daunting. If he has been conducting business without the required licences he will have to have a really good lawyer to get out of this one. I really wish him and his wife all the luck in the world. I am not worrying about my deposits with him only that he can get out of this mess in one piece. Good luck Brian and Phan.

Couldn't help noticing that the bank could fine them ...was it $100 million...? ...meaning that the $8+ million could be taken by the bank...??? I so hope not! It is heartening to hear that the money is there... though I don't know if that's worth anything as far as geting back what we put in.

I am not too smart with the computer, I have been trying to find about the pips update that I got from my emails, but I am not smart enough to find the system that you have set up. I guess you have changed it and I find it much harder to read all the updates, I just don't know how to find them.

Trial starts in May of next year. WOW!!! That's aways off, but I guess, it has been this long, what is another 9 months or so. I think that there is a chacne for a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel.

It sounds like the judge is already somewhat biased in this case... knowing that all their funds are frozen by the bank, it's obvious he didn't want them out on bail given the ridiculously high amount that he set it at... They've already given up their passports, so they can't exactly go far... The only winners here will be the lawyers as always...

One starting in Nov 2007
One starting in May2008
