(I am a pioneer in pureinvestor from 2003 and entered the 2% program before PIPS was launched)
Hopefully, if and when PIPS is back online, we will all be wiser, and I am convinced that Bryan will deal with this issue. If picpay is financially backed by gold or sufficient monitary funds in some banks, I would not worry. But if not!....I am not very positive to the outcome!....and I expect that BON and many members would hold Bryan responsible!
PIPS on the other hand would most likely be ok, since all funds are channeled through picpay.

Guys,
Wilder did not mean to attack you, all she meant was that there's no need to see gloom where you have no proof about it. She's always advocating the bright side no matter how things may go (she's always like that). all she meant is that as long as picpay works and delivers, we don't need to know about gold or platinum or uranium whatsover. Perhaps she drank too much wine too :D
Also she (like everyone) cannot contribute with widom on this topic because NO ONE knows anything.
It may be a legitimate question, which we will all support if anyone raises it to BM. But we don't have answers apart from speculatons, and it is not worth imagining ghosts just because we're in the dark. Nor angels

:? Sorry guys. Boatman, I really did not mean to offend.
I truly don't know about the gold exactly, nor does anyone at this point here. I can only judge by my experience with P**s because I have been on this rollercoaster ride with them since '02 (long before it was actually P**s). I guess that gives me the benefit of a long outlook and, as with any investment there are better times and not so better times. I just honestly believe that it would be far better for everyone's health if they were to just relax and wait and see. Why speculate? Really, why? Everything will be revealed in time, no? I am, as wacky said, just advocating looking on the bright side.
And by the way, in case you think I am independantly wealthy or something so I don't care about Picpay funds, you are dead wrong. Picpay freezup caused me tremendous financial hardship this year, however, that is still no reason to assume the worst.
Forgive me if I offended... perhaps it was the wine

At a previous convention Bryan confirmed that Pips either had or intended to acquire quantaties of gold as "reserves" in connection with the new Cambodian bank and also to assist in any currency conversation from $ to € which now seems to be the case.
