I think you are looking for the word "cesspool". At least here in the US !!!! and you do not want to fall in it !!! Sam
    Funny,

Cesspool sounds so much nicer than Cesspit? (g) Guess it all means the same though.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Actually ever since membership started the forum at bti feels like when the pips forum was up. No name calling, wild speculation, etc. The core is back and its pretty nice.

For those that even paid paypal, like I did, it was also put into picpay. With picpay being down, billy can't use the money. I know its tough but thats how it works. Its not like Billy is running away from paying you back.. he didnt recieve any of the cash as well.

What he was trying to do was make it so pips would grow and pay the dues through that. Now that picpay doesnt work he has to go to a traditional dues system.

It's ok if you dont want to join. I dont think its professional of most of you to defame it, however. You arent giving a balanced opinion.

    Have a nice day

If you pay some one for anything in cash and they make a promise, then invest the money you gave them. Isn't the person you gave the money to responsible for that promise, not matter about the investment?

Actually it was posted that your 100 dollars would go into pips to handle ongoing dues. Everyone seems to forget that part.

This place just wants to have somone to blame for all their problems. BTI seems to be the flavor of the day.

My membership was paid with picpay, so I undterstand that Billy might not have received payment on my account. What about the people that paid with paypal, cash. They were promised life time membership. Just because the money they paid was put in an investment does not negate the promise. Do you think it does?

Not the flavor of the day. What billy or "edgecrusher" does with the 100 is not the consideration of the members. The fact is that thousands payed the 100 for a lifetime membership and less than a year later they dont have a membership nor do they have credit. maintaining a forum doesnt take that much so many if not thousands feel they have been had, Myself included.

I paid early in the year before April, and understand that it is inessassible at the moment. While I am not a billy basher, I do agree that the members who paid "out of pocket" should have something of equal value returned as far as a forum goes. 10 months of dues prepaid would be a lot easier to handle than paying back out of pocket. I believe I posted that somewhere on the bti forum some time ago.

If I buy something from a company and pay by an acceptable form to them, they recieve that form of funds, I have recieved the "goods" in the normal arena. What the company then does with funds is beyond the customer's scope of business decisions. That company has no recourse to recover funds they have lost which was not their customer's fault. They may be able to recover their funds from source by legal means or/and also try obtaining recovery from customer if it were somehow the customer's fault by default.(merchants at PicPay problem?)

But by accepting such funds as receipt of payment, a merchant(and billy had to be one to recieve funds or at least a picpay member who was acting as a merchant selling something) took on that responsibility. I think the early booting of members before their buisnesses could return a payment was a little short sighted. It could have helped them to pay for their dues. I am also a member who must now wait to rejoin as the business I joined under billy has not paid as yet and won't until I can file some documents with them, then time will be consumed as I must cash that check, send it to egold or paypal and then rejoin. That check won't arrive until after the 15th of the month.

Another concern there is that some members of the company that I joined under him are saying that there have never been any payments as of yet for those commissions from downlines. I asked about it on their forum but as yet have gotten no answer.

I recently lost real funds investing in a business, but that was my decision and my loss. I am sorry for billy's losses as in the defunct convention and its left over charges from what was planned. But as many have said, his returns from these businesses will be quite handsome and will more than compansate him. Dues are fine, but give the membership time to come up with a means before kicking all out, especially those who paid real money. Those like myself who paid with picpay are out of luck there as he could not have withdrawn the funds, even if he decided to put it in a pips account for the company. Its still voided for the time being.

I am sorry if that doesn't please but it does no good to bash for circumstantial reasons, one way or the other. I do think it could have been handled a little better and I'll bet he never thought his early kick out would get the banging it did. He may now loose a lot of members as a result and many losses from those who signed up in his businesses as members withdraw from them.

As far as his reports go, I don't know enough truth of the matter to judge his statements, but I am a positive person and tend to believe the more positive things concerning pips but I also remain a realist to a degree. As far as diversifying goes, I have always planned on it, but feel it is now prudent, even if pips works out. I don't ever want to be dependant on one business again as that can obviously lead to problems.

Isn't being out of BTI for not paying the $10 a month, a lot like what happened to the merchants in picpay? I believe Billy said that could have been handled better also. Then he goes and does the same thing, almost.
