Just be careful - I think the small print says you have to be 18 years old and above.

But I guess there is nothing wrong in opening in the parents name,

I wanted to do one for my niece, and decided its best not to risk. There are several ways to skin a rat, Its best to be safe than sorry.

Just suggesting the side of caution with ref to T&C

Hope all works out fine.

I've opened one each for both of my children. Wanted to give them a house when they were in their 20's. Also pay for their education.

cheers everyone! I will post some more pics once i sort out some more hosting for my next website... which might get done tonight if i have time. Once things stabilise then will be opening accounts for family, but holding off at the current moment until we have a better idea of where things are going.
