Your edict of people's accounts being deleted because they talk about
what Warren and Gary say is just sheer stupid and NOT the way to go.
Although this is your fourm and you can act accordingly to how you feel
it still does not make it correct or even ethical. It is more like censorship
and anything that does not go your way will be deleted. You compare
to TG. Well, not true, I see no name calling here, I see no "Lets get Bryan" messages for the sake that it is Pips. Now, that is not to say that there
isn't reason for this now but each member has the right to form his or
her own opinion. People have the right to support or argue that opinion
as along as it doesn't go down to simple petty name calling.

Also, you are worried that the members are getting into a frenzy. As they
should be. There is a lot of things going on that you wouldn't normally
accept. Would you accept this behaviour at a bank. Hmm.. going to
a bank maching, entering your pin and the machine refusing to give you
your money. No, you would go into the bank and complain. Well this is
the same thing. There is NO information from the PIPS administration... none.. nothing is being said. People are relying on their own associations (Pips-USA, DBR or AusPIPS) to get that information.

So, don't go with your ADMIN brush and try to sweep it under the carpet. If you set up a fourm to truly discuss PIPS you have to be prepared for the good and the BAD.

Ryder...your post is very "mean spirited" and I will not edit it and will wait for Shell and Admin to view it and decide to edit it...but, here are the very simple rules to this forum...Rules

1. No copies from the company back-office to this forum is allowed.

2. No exchanging of funds on this forum is allowed.

3. No defamation of the company or the company's partners is allowed.

4. No fighting between members of this forum.
....Only discussions in a civil manner is allowed.

If you read the rules very closely...that is what we moderate. Why should we allow negative posts, defamation of the company or the company's partners, etc...in this forum? WE SHOULDN'T and WE DON'T! As with all fourms you're welcome to post here unless you break these rules. Just an FYI!

You know, if you would think it over one more time and perhaps read my message again too, you will see that i do not forbid people to talk about it. I forbid them to post hearsay supposedly from the two gentlemen..

Hearsay is what makes the gossip. Gossip makes the members uneasy.

Thanks for your prompt reply and if you do decide to edit my post. Don't please delete it as I do not like my words taken out of context.

Personally, I do not not think I am mean spirited. I just do not like the
"everything is wonderful" approach nor do I like the TG stance on
"everything is bad, anyone involved should go to jail". I like balanced
discussions. Like this one. In my initial post. Where did I take a mean
stance. I did not. I try to carefully word my posts not to.

Am I happy with the current situation? No, that is my opinion - I am not
happy that my loan, my parents money and others MAY not put to the
use as intended - to make an little nest egg. I can say that without defaming
anyone - people have different strengths and some have a better belief in the system. That is their opinion and it works for them.

But, speaking in general, as a moderator or as an admin should not use your own bias and delete posts that do not conform to your own opinion. In no where my main post did I say that rules should not be created - just be realistic. Defaming a person to excess is a good reason, but because you doubt someone is not. Someone posting information and they you deleting because it is HEARSAY is not a good reason. That is my point. We are ALL educated adults here that can form opinions and research. We can evaluate things that we read. Yes, there are people that feed on negative information and try to spin it.. but most can see through some of that. Much like some can see through the troll labeling or constant happy thoughts.

Shell, thanks for writing :-) I am calm. Actually I did think before I posted
and please do not think that I am belittling your position nor the burden it holds. As running a site can be fun and a joy it can also hold a heavy burden.

Sadly you can not stop gossip (maybe slow it down in your corner of the world).

You are getting off lucky, this post is shorter. Was I wrong in my post to you. No, but maybe a little heavy handed.

VERY WELL SAID!! BRAVO!!

I am S-I-C-K of all of the censorship on here. If you dont have the same opinion as these moderators, your post gets deleted. I would guess that [most] of these mod's are on a power trip. Probably their first time of being "in charge" of anything. The fact remains that all they are doing is pushing members away. I know of quite a few members personally, that wont be back here because of it. We are all sick of being treated like we are kids.

I don't think it's my position to edit a post directed at another moderator unless your post contained "offensive" words or broke the rules. I just thought the content was "mean spirited" and I fully (believe me when I type this) I FULLY UNDERSTAND your frustrations. Thank you for your prompt reply and I see Shell has added a reply to this thread too!

Now to direct my response to your latest post...I disagree with your statement:

Come on now...ok you can state your opinion and I didn't edit it. But, why can't we moderate the forum the way it's setup and where have we edited a post based on how we feel? I haven't!! I can also state we haven't edited a post because it hasn't "gone the way we wanted" we moderate based on the rules that have been setforth before this forum was opened to members.

Finally, in your original post you state..."You compare to TG." I don't believe Shell ever compared us to TG she simply stated that we don't want to be like TG. There is a difference here and that is another statement I found "mean spirited"

Well Style. I for one am not going to spend much time on your post. So, here goes, if you leave we are sorry to have you leave. But, looking at all your posts (7 previous) I would say that we would welcome your opinions and NO I'm certainly not on a power trip.
