I serve it raw 2 x weekly, and cook it with vegetables and rice 3 x weekly. The best vegetables for the canines is Silverbeet(spinach), Celery and Carrot. Vegies cooked and puried into a soup, and added to the cooked meat and rice as a sauce or gravy.

My dogs love it, as does many of my clients dogs. Pleased to add that niether of my two dogs have ever had to visit the Vet other than the regular check-up, which they have always passed with flying colours :)

IF YOU FEED YOUR DOG FROM A CAN YOU ARE KILLING IT !

Certainly back Rixta with his home-based nutritionally safe formula...I do it mysellf too... and we have suppliers to add help our concoction making "frozen-fresh" as an ultimate gourmet our beloved beasts get the best there is !!!

Yes, flying colors with every clean bill of health at the Vet are VERY important and when one comes up with dedication that matches concerns to the heart for longterm health issues...the way to address it is not at the flip of a can just to feed... it stems straight from the pan with the right healthy mix and by that, saves your purse as well with pride and satisfaction.

My Parrot luve figs, seedless prunes and above all...my home baked bread called "YogiBrood" better understood as Yogi's bread in Dutch.

My guard dogs has their terrific sheen on their coats and their motions ain't stinky either and displaying true natural colours that dispel coloring agents and other conservatives added to many labels on dog brands... here's another snap of my gals....

Hi Yogibrood, beautiful dogs, but what breed are they? They look loke Collies in black, and I mean that seriously. They look beautiful if unknown to me.

We always had large dogs, including hunting dogs which were terrific, and one boxer, which I never liked before I had one. The biggest was a wolf-hound. It was an incredible animal.

Don't have any dogs now because our space is too small for animals. I want to see them run around without having to be restricted or tied up.

    God bless you,

    peterben

Thank you Peter, I see you were browsingthrough the other threads such as this....

They are called "Belgians" in most countries when easily termed with shepherd dogs from Belgium.

Their true canine description as categorised under the Breed Standards is "Groenendael", one of four vareities that falls under this Belgian Dog Group of Belgian origin.

It has the size of the Australian Dingo and is amazingly larger with the huge mane on the males but looks devastatingly beautiful with a near perfect black coat which is also frightening at night when those eyes are the only visible reflection for any intruder....

Great Guard dogs these are, and yet very sociable if brought up under good training methods!

Good to note you like my b*i*t*c*h*e*s...Gaby & Gina (Dutch and Luxembourg Champion and French SR qualified=gunshot test)

That is just gross. I could not imagine feeding my cats food that was made with cats or dogs.

A simple and nutritious meal for dog is a mixture of rice, ground or minced meat, vegetables, some brewer's yeast and adequate water, depending on whether we want dry or wet food. Vegetables should always be cooked and pureed as well, since dogs cannot digest raw vegetables.
