You will have to withdraw the money and then "reinvest it with SI" in order to step up the interest. If the communication from SI was correct recently, when you redeposit a sum of $1001 or more you will be put into the special plan automatically...

what's the story concerning the similar ip addresses? someone here said it had to do with ddos attacks. that all the registrations are similar due to security based registrations. my words/guess, as they never replied.

Thanks Krisark and Dreamer for replying to my question. No Krisark I am well short of $1000 so that is not what happened. Thanks Dreamer for verifying that this does happen, so far I have resisted joining the 3% program because I am stubborn and did not choose to.
