If they show no confidence in themselves, WOW thats bad.
    Just my opinion of course.
You are asssuming that exists in Malaysia. I can tell you that it does NOT exist in my country of residence. While it is the basis of attorney business in the US, not everything works the same as it does in the US, although most Americans would assume it does.

If you want an attorney here, you pay. No matter what the case and probable outcome. Contingency does not exist.

I have to agree with Suzanna, things are different in every country. In my country one has to afford several payments in advance as things develops. Besides, I think a very specialized lawyer is needed in this case, with knowledge in international trades, administration, etc. Sometimes, the cost of this is a percentage of the amount involved...
We don't know how things are managed in Malaysia. Would be great if anybody with knowledge could tell us.

    Best Regards

You just hit on one of the biggest problems. Most Americans assume that things in other countries work the same as they do in America. They have a hard time understanding that the laws, rules and regulations, and procedures vary from country to country. People have to keep in mind that every country has its own laws and regulations.

OK assuming that you are correct, and things are different with attorneys in country's other than America..........The only funds that are supposedly frozen are the ones in BON in Malaysia correct? Isnt that what we are being told? Isnt that where the investigation is taking place? Ok, so ARE we now being told that ALL of PIPS funds were in that one bank? Are we being told that ALL of PIPS funds worldwide are frozen? WHAT are we being told? Why the need for more money? PIPS is supposedly a BILLION DOLLAR company.......where are the rest of the funds and why cant the legal fees be taken from there?
True enough, I have already stated that I am not going to donate until I get answers to my questions and you guys are more than free to donate if you choose, that is your business. I dont care about that. BUT what I do care about is the fact that we still need these questions answered.......dont you think? I mean with ALL of the money "supposedly" in PIPS, why do they need more from us for legal fees. AND DO NOT SAY THAT THE FUNDS ARE FROZEN..........because the only funds frozen are "supposedly" in Malaysia. What about the rest of the money? Think people, WHERE IS THE REST OF THE MONEY?
SO......donate if you want to, donate until you are all dead broke and living in a box somewhere, That is NOT my business. BUT what happened to the rest of the money in PIPS IS my business and it is the business of every other member of PIPS as well. If you dont think this is an important question, then I feel very sorry for you!! OH and please send me money too for my legal fees, ( you know....just in case I get charged with something in the future. Now this is "if I get charged" with something, I havent been yet)

    Style,

You have cut to the heart of the matter. A corporation with billions in assets could not suddenly be so broke as to not be able to afford an attorney just because their funds were frozen in one country. The emperor has no clothes.
