ray, as you seem intent on starting game 2, here are my suggestions.

1) sell 'units' at one fixed price of, say, $10. it's far easier to control this way and gives the 'game' stability. if someone wants to spend $100 then they'll have to buy 10 units. this also minimises losses for big spenders.

2) pay daily, say 10% for 15 days. people love getting paid daily. you'll also get DAILY ratings which will attract fresh daily spends. this will in turn make your 'game' last a lot longer.

3) scrap the referral nonsense, people just refer themselves wasting valuable resources.

4) make an admin charge, say 5%, to build a reserve fund.

5) NEVER tell people the 'game' is nearing it's end. when the 'game' ends use the reserve fund to share between those not in profit.

6) list on Ministryofgold - a must.

I tried cycler games a while back and the game always ends when the 5 or 7 day period is up because everyone cashes out at this time. Maybe try a no fixed time frame but with a small ROI such as 1 - 2% daily NOT compounded and for an indefinite period of time. Cashout whenever you want and NO displaying how much has been cashed out or the current cycler %. and not even display how much money deposited or how many members because these figures change during the game which changes peoples confidence level and when confidence goes down people cash out in masses.

Remember the big one that lasted a few years before ending.

As I have posted previously, that I do not know were
to advertise these kinds of games & HYIP's without
worrying about SPAM.
My suggestion is maybe those of us that don't have the
ability to do this kind of advertising, that maybe we as a group
could come up with a fair price to pay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
to build a advertising pool to advertise our ROLClub HYIP game on a
regular bases & on a voluntary bases.
But the only thing is it will take away some of the profits, maybe the
HYIP Game would at least longer adding to the profits over time.
I would be willing to pay to help to advertise our ROLClub HYIP Game as
long as it is a reasonable price. That way the money could be
used by someone or a group of members who knows how to advertise
our HYIP Game.
Just my idea that may help the HYIP game 2, as long as everyone else
agrees with my ideas here.

I'm not sure how you're determining who is promoting and who
is not.

The list you point out is of successful promoters, not promoters.

As many have already pointed out, screen names used in other forums may
not be the same as here or in the game so tracking who is and who isn't
promoting the game (I think) is next to impossible. Correct me if I'm
wrong.

Just as "members" stated earlier, I also joined the game based on a
"favourable impression of the character of the admin"... Simply put -
I trust you. But your assumption that only a handful are promoting the
game is inaccurate. Perhaps the game is being promoted heavily but
for many people who have already lost in this arena (me included), the
thought of risking more egold is too much. As I said, I threw in because of
my impression of you and my belief that you would not run.

I know I promoted but never saw a single referral. I'm sure others are in
the same category.
