    Default Anyone having a sign-in problem at NIL??

    Hey banana.... Havn't been on the NIL site in a few days. Noticed they changed things around a bit (much better). But now, I can't sign on. "Incorrect Username or Password. Please Try Again" is the message I get. I have cleaned my cookies, deleted interenet history. Things like that, and still nothing. Even tried sending my "forgetten" password to my email, and I get the same message.

    At your convienence, can you please look into this and see what is going on.

    That is the New members Home Page. You must re-register their with a New username and password for that site.

    The original site is still there it is accessible through the "NIL Join Us Now" Banner and the login to the original site is the same as it was.

    You will need to register at the NIL Portal site which, as the name suggests, its a portal to all the other areas of NIL now, and into the future. It has it's own login requirements.

    The NIL Portal Site is more of a community site where other activities can take place.
    It is also the site where you send guests or anyone you want to expose NIL to.

    I don't think I've got any problem signing up, so far; but, I am in the Processes Menu, after successfully confirming the que, and am now waiting for the next email with the upline information. It's been about fifteen minutes or so, so I'm just taking a coffee break and waiting for the email to arrive. I don't recall reading it, but I assume it's fine to log-off the NIL site, for now, and come back to it after the email arrives as I don't know how long it's going to take. I am noting the processes carefully to better be able to help new members to sign up, as well as to adjust my advertisements towards the end of helping new sign-ups to, get signed up. Anyway, back later.

    Oops, I just did notice the statement on the site that you have 60 minutes to complete the sign-up or you lose your que position. Whew... Well, glad I went back to review what I read before; the only thing now is, then, waiting to see if the next email with the upline information will arrive within the 60 minute alloted time.

    There does seem to be some kind of problem signing up tonight, after all; or, if not the second email not coming in on time, it is that I have to go across town and can't wait any longer for it to arrive. So, unfortunately, I'll have to log-off and try this again tomorrow. I need to find out if I did something wrong or if this is the usual deal so I'll be able to best help others with the sign-up process.

    What is your NIL Userid I think there maybe a problem since I made the changes to the site.

    It's the next day and I still haven't received the second email, so I'll have to wait until I get an update on this problem; I don't know if I have to restart the registration or if the current one is still valid and a fix is possible. Please let me know. Thank you.

    Hi Thelema,

    First thankyou for bringing this to my attention, because it has also effected other members in the joining process, I am in the process of contacting them as well.

    It looks like a script was not being run by the server and as a result the email was not sent.

    It looks like when an upgrade was installed, the method for running scheduled scripts was changed slightly from how it was setup originally, anyhow the change was made and the system log is saying the script is back in action again.

    I've reset your queued entry, so you just have to pickup from option 2.Confirm Queue Entry you should find your entry there dated 2007-04-11 17:56:33 Just confirm it again and check your email and follow the instructions in that email,(it should take no longer than 2mins) or you can get it from the My Emails option under the Members area.

    All emails sent by NIL are stored in the database in case they get lost or caught by spam filters on the Internet.

    If you need any further assistence please contact me, and my apologies for this inconvenience.
