    This is in answer to Zwhatshap's question . . . as PM is disabled . . .

As I understand it computers retain a copy of everything you view as a website as a *cache* file . . . that way they can pull it up again . . . if you visit the site, much quicker . . .

That is what you get first [and it's a copy of what you saw the last time you viewed the site / it's not the current / or new view of the site] . . . You should refresh the site to be sure you are viewing updated info . . .

Unless your machine auto deleats these *cache* files . . . mine does it every couple of hrs. . . . I keep the sites I visit often in my *favorites-file* then its a new deal every time I hit it . . . You can also bypass the cache files by hitting the refresh button . . . @ least I can on my machine . . .

    If I'm wrong here . . . someone please correct me . . .

    4:53 AM = site still down . . .

We will see who is right. I donīt think this is something and closing down the street could be due to anything. You donīt know

    Yes you are correct

It looks for the cookie on disk that connects you to the site. Sometimes Internet explorer and other browsers picks up the cached htmlfiles instead of connecting to the real server. The reason for it looking on your local pc is for speed but it should dynamically update against the server. Sometimes this doesn´t happen.
