    Default Discrepancy

Yes, and thank you Banana, but you see, I was in a hurry because I had to be out of town and I thought it outragous that I could not post at Club Freedom when I was signed in. I had two other people I wanted to sign up, but not when there are pending problems.

The reply back from admin was to post within the forum. This was too much. I would never leave anyone hanging.

Well, it won't happen again, but definately, someone screwed up and perhaps it was the person who was assigned under me by joining direct with CF rather than going through NIL.

You are absoloutely right about me not authorizing that position. That was my fault. I should have just shut my computer off and waited 24 hours before doing anything.

Since I was knew, I will take it as a lesson, but I must say, I can write better directions and instructions to clarify important aspects of the program. This reminds me of reading and comparing US Regulations against Nato Regulations and there is no comparison. You read NATO and there is no question. You read US and you must have two secretaries, two libraians, and a staff to help you figure out what is going on.

Well, so I have exagerated a little here, but that is how I felt not getting responses and having to be out to town with the potential of leaving a position and a new member not taken care of. 24 hours? Okay, not so much to avoid potential problems, and I think I know almost enough to help anyone who asks for help.

I really hate lose ends and not receiving an automatic announcement of a new bee in my downline, something slipped: The CF Forum should have been sufficient, rather than have to bring it to Roll Club Perhaps I will be able to sign in and post next time??????

Gee what fun! But, I really mean thanks for responding. You are really appreciated and perhaps the bugs will get worked out of this new programs soon.

Now, I am back home earlier than expected, but extremely tired after last night trying to solve this problem for several hours and getting no where. So I am going to turn in and try to figure out why the positions for this new person under me still does not add up to what it should look like.

    Thanks again.

Thanks Denise. No there is no problem with my account. It is the system that did not work and I was attempting to take care of things before I had to leave town. Several hours and a few different approaches and then I decided to go ahead and authorize this NewBee. I should not have, but then it seems it does not matter anyway.

Just a frustrating day trying to figure something out when there is no immediate responses to questions of importance.

Anyway, all will work out and I will be signing up a couple people as soon as I am sure all is going properly. It would have been done yesterday, but I won't sign up people unless things are in order.

Either way, people get slowed down so i guess it does not matter, right?
Wrong, but what can we do until the bugs are all worked out.

    Thanks for the response.

In another thread on NIL here in Rolclub, I have suggested the importance of having a contact listed on the NIL site. This is an ex. of where that is very useful. When I had a problem due to power failure when I signed up, since I too was not a "regular" at Rolclub at the time, I was frantic thinking "why do I have to go to a forum? I need a contact for this program."

This being said, having a contact still does not guarantee instant access with an answer to the problem. We ideally need contacts in more than one time zone since the difference from USA for example and Australia are 14-16 hours apart. (logical contacts are probably Bananna in Australia and Neno in Texas) but if we at least have a contact email on the site it could send the requestor a message stating they would be contacted with 12-24 hours.

    Lucky142,
First you need to understand that NIL and CF are two different and independent systems. This is just an unfortunate situation for invest2000 not following the established rules and taking over 10 hrs to join CF via NIL without responding to emails sent or taking the time to read and understand the Conditions of using the NIL Website.

I occasionally hear from those that run into problems that the CF via NIL process is confusing, but not one of these people have watched the flash movie tutorial first and then proceed to use the NIL Website, in that order.

No, its always bull at a gate, fumble through, then they have a look at the flash movie after the fact to discover, "oh its actually quite straight forward now that I know what I am doing".

I was not trying to be critical.

Yes, yes i know i am been pedantic.

I have learned that instructions must be kept very simple & should not exceed 1 line were possible.

Layout to be easy on the eye, which facilitates understanding of the message.

Keep up the good work in yr posts.
