Proper exercise is very important in learning how to remove love handles. The American Council on Exercise recommends several exercises:


Vertical leg crunches – this exercise involves lying o your back and raising your legs in the air then doing your regular crunches.
Bicycle crunches – lie on the floor and perform twisting crunches while pedaling your legs. The key to this one is to keep the workout slow – trying to do it while pedaling madly will likely result in an injury!
Captains chair leg raises – Using the captains chair at the gym slowly lift both knees towards your stomach, hold it for a few seconds and then relax.
