I'm sorry to seem so stupid, but I stumbled on this site looking for financial help. I was told to do a web search for wealthy people who give away cash as gifts to different people and org. then use those gifts as tax write offs on their returns. do you know this to be true? and if so how could I find an individual like that to help me? I know this may sounds silly but desperate people do desperate things. I am needing $1500 to keep my home from being forclosed on. Please forgive my ignorance.
