Thread: admen please explan or fix

before the move to the new server I wood just go to the forum I liked visiting and it wood go to the last page I had looked at and now it goes ot the first page. in some forums you will get many pages before your next visit and you have to sift though them to find the last page you have looked at. thankyou for your time on this. eric

It has changed in some way. I used to click on "go to first unread post" and it worked great. But now I ALWAYS get to the same post on page 92... (I have the max posts/page so my last page is 140 something) I USED to end up on page 138,139, something like that (one or two pages before the last; depending on when I was in last) but now, independently of how many pages have been added, I always end up on page 92.
So now I have to click on "last page" instead of "first unread post" and then sift back to find where I were...

hmmm...have you tried clearing your history, cookies and cache on your browser?

Go to set default age and adjust, that's how I fixed it.

I have tried changing everything to default - but I STILL end up at the same post! But now it's on page 366 instead! LOL
