I'm in Phoenix but I was in a branch here today and picked up my dinar that I ordered yesterday. I asked specifically about Chicago and they told me that all Chase branches have the capability to order the dinar.
The first time I placed an order at that branch, it was their first time doing it. But they walked through the instruction steps and found how easy it was to do.

Do these banks know something that we don't like if the Dinar will actually revalue. I am not a naysayer for I have many Dinar but have wondered at these responses from the banks.
I would say it's simply a matter of poor communication in the bank management's part. I have made several purchases from my local Chase branch and the tellers that helped me knew how to perform the transaction but they had no clue of the significance of the purchase. One teller at one point asked me why I was buying so much dinar. A personal banker at one point also asked me the same question after he saw me purchase so many times. My point is... why are the bank employees not aware of the significance? My response to that is simply that management does not want them to know the significance for whatever reason.

you would just think the ' head ' of the currency branch at the " main " chicago downtown branch would know what is going on, if " all " branches were to order dinar :/

Well, maybe that "head" of the currency department is really the "ass". I would also assume that they could have a personal relationship with the other forum and feel they are doing you a favor by being a "realist" and not letting you in on dinar.

Might just be as simple as that person looks at the list of all the usual currencies traded (euro, cdn dollar, lira, etc) and says: "nope, it's not listed, therefore we don't deal in dinars" without actually looking at the instruction manual issued by head office.

I have been dealing here in Canada with the local branch of Scotiabank and have dealt with 2 different tellers. Both of them had to look up the instructions in a 3 ring binder and had to follow the steps one at a time.

    Just a thought.

    Update.

just got back from local Chase, didn't have a problem ordering 1M.

Buy rate was .0007676, a little higher than local dealers but whatever.
There was a $5.00 service fee for me being a non-customer.

I was able to pick denominations of small, medium, or large, we shall see what comes in.

They say they get shipped by Fedex from California, will be in monday or tuesday, very smooth transaction, considering I talked with 2 people from the same bank only yesterday where they said that I cannot order them from any Chase bank.

thanks, for everyones advice, and all your help

No dealer can touch their exchange rate. Chase is way better than any local dealer when it comes to the quanity of the exchange.

Also they dont come from California, they come from JPMorgans Main branch Corp out of New York. I am telling you these branchs dont know what they are talking about yet. But they will as you and I make them learn.

I also picked up my weekly order too, at a different Branch. I move around and make these Branches realise what they can do. Then again I have about 50 branches in a 50 mile range, maybe more. Dallas/Ft.Worth must have a competion for Banks I sware.

Has anyone heard from Tiffany? I know she was in that suprise Snow Storm in New York the last two days. I figure she is one of the ones to have lost her power grid. Hope all is fine with her side.

    O-My-Gosh Neno!!!

I think my last post was like "what the heck is going on...."

Our electric just came back on like an hour ago from Thursday at 9:50 PM!! Lemme tell ya, NOT FUN with three boys! It was the craziest storm I've EVER seen! We went from 70 degrees and sunny one day to 30 degrees and 2 feet of snow the next! We were having lake effect snow AND raging thunderstorms at the same time...the lightning looked neon GREEN...pretty freaky and scary. The city of Buffalo lost over 50% of their trees...they still have the leaves on them and the ice and snow was too heavy and they all split and/or fell down. We are really lucky to get our power back so soon...they are saying that some places won't have it back until Thursday at the earliest.

I was most stir-crazy about not being able to check in here! lol! (well that, and the fact that I missed the last 10 minutes of Grey's Anatomy! WHAT did Denny's Dad give Izzy????? ANYBODY???? I'm thinking a big fat check! Love that show...)

SO happy to be back! lol! Thanks for remembering me Tommy! Tiff ~
