Just to clarify for others, Adster means 12th March, not 3rd December!

That's a Sunday though - seems an odd day for it, but I suppose it could then start a new week with it.

I guess time will tell. I'd like to see it done sooner rather than later, and things are starting to look more promising. By June? Perhaps. Or maybe the 12th March thing will pan out.
    Always interesting,

We can speculate on all the dates we want, but I am content to know it will happen, not when as I went into this with a long term goal from start.

As to Sunday, this is when all gov. meetings are scheduled as the weekend as we know it is Thursday and Friday in middle east, Sunday is business as usual.

My contacts did confirm that due to recent bombing, it has slowed up debate on who will be in power over what, but the constitution mandates Sunday's cabinet meeting, but it will be another couple weeks before issues are negotiated, so this is a meeting to meet the letter of the law only, not to finalize power issues, so we wait.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Iran is sure to get involved in attempts to upset the Sunni's through various attacks on their property and persons. I personally would not expect a reval until the end of this year. But like I said, there is no downside, just a frustrating waiting period whether it be long or short. Eventually we will all be retired, that is for certain.

    Interesting,

If you visit MSN Joe Scarborough commentary, where the truth is spoken, not mainstream media BS, you would not be saying this. He was on TV yesterday and said just the opposite, in fact, hundreds have been captured, and for the first time since Saddam days, the insurgents were hung for all to see by Iraqi forces, so the tide has turned, and with the bomb supply from Iran being deminished with border concentrations, bombings have dropped off, overall, but the news makes it sound like it is increasing.

As to when, my sources say May, so we shall see, anyone want to bet on date, we could start a pool. LOL On date and revalus amount, could be fun and help the time go by. (g)

    Good luck to all, Mike

    Hi Mike,

May sounds good to me - I'd be over the moon with that. I was betting on a few years really, but things do seem to be coming into place quite rapidly.

And you're quite right about the weekends - I'm applying my western thinking!

    Default Government approval, almost there!!

Guys, we're as good as there, this is huge news!! A reval is round the corner (within 6 weeks). Last chance to buy dinars. PM me for details. If you can invest an amount that you can afford to lose please think about this one, it's a winner, I've researched it for a year now. With the government in place it was the last hurdle. This will reval in the region of 1 dinar to 1 dollar. Don't miss out on it or you will regret it. I'd like to see as many make money out of this as possible. ACT NOW.

Memorial Day is what we're looking at, 29/5. Rate, somewhere in the region of .91 to $1.19 to the dinar. The banks will take about 7 to 10 days to reconfigure their process and then you can exchange your dinar.

This is what I'm hearing, one source said he was 99% on this. We'll see, sounds good though eh? Take it for what is and don't shoot the messenger, am just passing on info. In saying that I'm more excited than I've ever been at this point about any investment, including pips (when it was paying.)

Do you not think dinar dealers have their own supply? I know my own one had 20 million and that was 3 months ago! Do you not think $20 million is enough money?

They will keep on selling until the day it hits, why not? They win both ways by a.) making money from you buying them and b.) from their own personal supply once this baby hits.

Hope so Tony, for all of us! They seem pretty confident. Bottom line is the dinar has een undervalued for the last 3 years down to the EPCA setting that rate. Now the government has been formed it HAS to be revalued for reasons I gave on the other dinar thread. There's only one way with this and that's up.

    Default Could this be it?!

Wow, just got up to find this elsewhere, this could have been leaked by mistake! if not and the site is credible which I'm sure it is as they're no dinar dealers then it sounds like we could be as good as there!!! If the finance minister and CBI and World Bank are happy then it would just have to be put through parliament to be agreed and we're there!!! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!.

Not too late to buy some last minute dinars, pm me for details.

The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank a proposal to lift the value of the Iraqi dinar Iraqi returning to normal, and is this proposal and supported the World Bank. This announcement l (morning), Finance Minister Jabr Al statement said : We have suggested to the Governor of the Central Bank raising three zeroes on the Iraqi dinar and the lifting so that the value of the dinar was equal to the dollar
