Just keep reminding yourself that age is a number, old is a state of mind. I know many "young" folks in the seventies and up and many "old" folks in their thirties and forties.

Personally, I will be 65 in October and my saying is...... " I may be getting on in age, but I refuse to think of myself as old."

    Default Quiet, Quiet, Quiet!

Man it's so quiet around here I can hardly stand it. I guess I'll have to go tackle that stack of paperwork I've been needing to do. Believe it or not, I think I'm probably better at procrastination than the Iraqis.

It may be relatively quiet on the forum, but it is sure not quiet at my house. My son has started firecrackers a little early this year. I'm off to supervise.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

If something came up that might be causing a change in our lifestyle he just shrugged it off. Will built two different homes so we moved twice during his life. RetMil,

this reminds me of a story I would like to share with everyone.

A sick man was visiting his doctor, as he was
preparing to leave the examination room he said,
"Doctor, I am afraid to die, please
tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."

"You don't know? You, a Christian man,
do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door,
on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,
and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room
and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient! , the doctor said,

    "Did you notice my dog?

He's never been in this room before
and he didn't know what was inside.

He knew nothing except that his master was here,
and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.

I know little of what is on the other side of death,

but I do know one thing...

I know my Master is there and that is enough for me."
