Can someone show the article from last year to prove that it is word for word, exactly the same? If not then there is a big difference possibly if this article is an unpdated version of the past article. The difference being "Iraq is negotiating" versus "Iraq has concluded".

I just finished browsing the old news thread titled "Iraq/Dinar News 09/05 to 01/14/07" and I found a post on page 531 by pipshurricane. Post #5304 dated Jul 20/06 quoting a reuters article stating that Iraq had completed it's commercial debt settlement. The wording is not exactly as the pdf file referred to earlier in this thread but seems to be paraphrasing it and the way I read it reuters was referring to this announcement.
I also took a look at the website that the link provided earlier in the thread takes you. It seems this was a site that was set up by Ernst & Young for people to access and file claims, etc. Also for Ernst & Young to report on the progress. My guess is that when that pdf file was first posted on the site it was "new". But since it was the announcement of the conclusion of the process, there has never been anything posted since. Hence, the "new" sticker is still there.
Just my interpretation of this.
