Hope you get some well deserved rest. Since I have just completed the read of this thread, I thought I would add my two cents while there is a break in action.

As we have all seen with each thread, there will always be difference of opinions, as well as misunderstandings given the broad range of members, and no matter what one says or does, you will never be able to change it.

TOS is the only thing you can enforce, but the opinions, rumors, personalities, egos and all the rest are impossible to control. Just as we have seen in this thread, there are those who believe one way while others disagree, this is what human nature is all about, being different.

Personally, I thought this forum was one of the best on the internet, and I visit many, and overall, there were not a lot of serious issues with TOS violations, and the few personality conflicts never really excalated into hate that I have seen. Sure, I may miss a few since I am on forum only 15 hours a day, but overall, I give ROL an A+ as far as friendly helpful posting goes.

As I have often stated, I don't like terminating people for their views or opinions, only repeated vulgar TOS violations, but what has happened with release of personal information shouldn't have happened, and especially by a mod, so I don't blame Marek for being ticked off and his actions. He can only do so much, and this is true for the mods as well, sadly, this whole problem seems to have originated from a mod, and that brought about even more anger which we all saw being vented here. There is only so much you can do to keep people from the pissing matches some really enjoy, but we try to do our best. We all know who is in this catagory, so we keep closer eyes on some over most here, but it is impossible to stop an occassional spat.

OK, bottom line as I see it. We have a great forum here overall, and it is recognized as one of the best for information, good, bad and ugly of all topics, and this is what a forum should be all about. Overall, I see a great group here, and only when a dispute like this crops up to I see distinct sides being taken, again, human nature is cause for this siding. I don't really feel there are issues that cannot be resolved, but for a few, it is too late, they have cast their behavior in stone, some several times so. We know that some bridges can be mended in time, but some cannot, and again, this is what we just saw happen as it did in the past.

I appreciate and respect all opinions, for or against my own, it makes no difference, that is what a mod should always keep in mind, stay in the middle of all issues, neutral grounds are safe grounds in my opinion. Rumors are opinions based on what we hear from whoever, and like most rumors, they rarely come to pass, so why is there an issue about verifying them before posting them, take them for what they are, BS. Sorry, but I have heard more than enough to know they are BS until someone gets lucky and sees one come true. (g) I truly believe most know this in the heart, but some need to lighten up in rumor section and take it more lightly.

We have added enough catagories to appease everyone, yet some will never be satisfied, and this is why we have this issue being discussed, to try and deal with these few who will never agree with the majority. As we see, it is impossible, too many personalities to deal with, but I commend Marek for trying to resolve these complaints for all to benefit. Again, if those who cannot handle rumors for what they are, BS, then by all means don't visit this thread, simple. Most post what they hear, not what they know is true, so how could anyone expect rumors to be based on fact, it just doesn't work this way, but most still enjoy hearing them, so lets keep them coming. Sure, some will post in an attempt to disrupt, and make up anything to get a response, but most know who is being sincere by now, right or wrong, they are posting what they have heard from whoever, and that is fine with me.

Overall, we have to be happy with the fine group of members who have come to ROL to learn, share and have respectful debates and conversations with other members, and I don't care what anyone says, we have 99.9% caring and respectful members here, tops in my books, so let us continue where we left off and forget the few trouble makers which will naturally show up from time to time, and those who slip in under different names and IP's will happen no matter what we do, so if we all simply try to get along, avoid ego attacks, most to post issues, and keep our different personalities in check and not attack spelling, tit for tat and all these other immature and trivial items, I think we can all get along just fine.

Thank you Mike for that is an excellent evaluation both on the spectrum of members we have among us in this Forum as well as the indication on the personalities that crosses this path into our Forum threads and I am sure, most of the membership supports and agree what is needed to be done, is done with all considerations taken for the credibility we must maintain & uphold, respect to one's privacy so others are not marginalized as we now came to know was used for ill intent at RC expense through a Moderator we allowed for the right intention but had served otherwise unfortunately for all to discover. Thank you for putting it across, it was a great read too for me.
