No, I haven't heard anything negative over here. I am just tired of waiting on this I have been in this for a long time and I am losing faith in it happening at all. I have other things I could use this money for right now; I'm not in a bind or anything but I just am tired of seeing this money sitting here not doing much. I have made some profit over what I paid for it even if I can 700 a million on it. Just tired of waiting is all plus other things going on have me down right now.

There is nothing wrong with taking profit anytime you have it. Enjoy the things you can use the money for and rid yourself of this thing if you perceive it as a burden. Have a safe trip home as well.

i would think the prospect of being a millionaire within a couple weeks would be somewhat uplifting. if you hadnt been paying close attention to the articles the last few days they point to the end of this month to complete all the requirements set forth by the wb and imf.

even some articles indicate they have indeed completed all these requirements already and we await the presidential council getting the passed laws on tuesday to be ratified. i cant for the life of me figure out why anyone would possibly be disheartened with this endeavor right now.

I know that now does seem like a really good time for the dinar, BUT how many times have we had really good news coming out of Iraq for nothing to happen again. I have other things going on right now that have me discouraged about life in general. If I sell it will most likely not be all but just a couple of million. I hope everyday that this will happen but here lately it is harder and harder to be positive even with all of the good news coming out. I am not trying to be a naysayer, I probably just need to take a break for awhile.

Thanks, I don't feel like the dinar is a burden, I just get worn out from time to time on this whole thing. Now would probably be a good time for me to take a break from these forums. Well, my first post here.....but I have been watching, learning and enjoying this thread and information from much more in the know members.....!!! And for that I thank all the informative members....!!
I do feel a little sad seeing eastmans post about selling due to the long wait for this investment to materalise......but we have watched all the naysayers come in and dishearten us, we have arrived and gone past so many important dates and targets....and they are still being forcast now......but everyone we go past....there is always some more important laws and goals to get through ........I am getting the feeling we are really close.....still loads of final pieces of jigsaw being put into place.....BUT IT IS HAPPENING....hang in there Eastman and everyone else....!! Remember there will not be an anouncement from the iraqi goverment saying "Investors please get in now we are ready to RV.......IT WILL JUST CREEP UPON US...!!

It sounds as if you have multiple millions of Dinar. Go ahead and sell off as much as you feel comfortable selling. Take the money and buy yourself something nice. My wife spends money all the times and she feels GREAT!


There are plenty of people who have invested in the Dinar with borrowed money (credit cards, etc) who are now in financial trouble because of it. Those people should remember to put their families FIRST and the Dinar SECOND.

There is no shame in selling your Dinar. You must keep your boat afloat, regardless of when you think the Dinar will rescue you financially. If you need to sell, by all means SELL. You don't have to sell it ALL, just enough to get by. I think keeping a minimum of 250,000 Dinar would be enough to boost your finances when the Dinar appreciates.

actually never in the history of news from iraq in this investment has the news been this good. this is it, the climax of this entire investment about to unfold. step back away from the forum for a couple weeks and come back. it will do ya good.
