I'm in no way implying that all, the majority or even a substantial number of female Marines are that way.... Just saying that I was stationed with some that may be have been VERY friendly with some of the other female Marines... As for you yardbird, Semper Fi!!!

The marines are all sailors anyhow....they get paid by the Dept. of the Navy....their is no Dept. of the Marines....LMAO.....hoooorahhh

When I was in the Marines, the females were simply referred to as BAM's.

That's funny, when I was in "Bud" was the word. What's up bud, how are you bud, come here bud, on and on it went. It was mostly the lifers that said it and we used to laugh at them about it.

Not to get in to the old debate but the Marines were established before the US even had a navy...
