To Celebrate the Dinar with Great Golf
Hey Adam, glad your surgery was a success. I know you are looking forward to getting back out on the links. I would agree that the Old Course would be a good starting point, except for the fact that Winter is quickly approaching. My recommendation would be to get together in the Caribbean on a "golf cruise" or meet in the Dominican Republic for several golf options including The Teeth of the Dog.
Although it is a longer flight for you and many others, I agree with Whatever that the Ritz Carlton Kapalua Golf Resort is a great option. I would suggest that we play several courses in Maui for three or four days before heading over to Lanai. Having played both the Challenge at Manele and the Experience at Koele, I can vouch for the quality and playability of both courses.
The Lodge at Koele and the Manele Bay Hotel are managed by Four Seasons. The high end lodging and cuisine at both resorts are world reknownd.
Is the Dinar Cup in the Caymens still on, if so, count me in, Adam?

Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

I take it you not joining the European team, mate
Hey Ad,
We need to strengthen our squad.
We could have our first round at one of these in the Caymans.

More Info on the Caymans
To Adam, Clint and all other golfers,
If we can get together on Grand Cayman, I'll be happy to play golf with any of you from any international destination (keep it fair, keep it fair)
Team play, mini Ryder Cup/President's Cup format, or good ole stroke play. The main thing is to keep it in the short grass. Heck, who knows, maybe a team scramble would work one day.
My wife and I just returned from Las Vegas after attending the Luxury Travel Expo. We met with some representatives from the Cayman Islands. We discussed various options for lodging and are looking into two or three 4 or 5 star resorts. Once the dinar revalues, I'll make a group rate available from these high-end resorts.
I'll be skiing in Aspen for five days starting tomorrow. My wife will respond, if anyone has any interest. I'll bust a few moguls for you guys.

Thanks for bringing this thread back Neno.
Adster, I also vote for the Old Course but have to put Augusta National right up there. I have been there to watch the ******* but would love to play there. There are also a couple of courses in Las Vegas (Shadow Creek) is one of them.

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face... then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"
A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty."
