Great minds think alike I sent him a copy of my response and the article. He is one of my favorites on Fox. Just finished watching his interview with President Bush. Great!

Government Upset With Cnn
I heard on the news driving home today that congress, senate, or some part of the government was very upset with CNN about the airing of the video we e-mailed CNN about I heard that they are going to do something but I don't know what. It will be on CNN sometime today
CNN may be changing some of their tune on reporting things
Glad we sent our responses
If someone catches it please let us know what was said and how it was handled
Thanks

Things are heating up
I was listening to Frank Pastroy on KKLA radio station. He was talking about the CNN incident with a representative Daryl Issa (?) about the outrage over the video showed repeatedly about one of our soldiers being shot in Iraq.
Daryl gave a brief history of how CNN got there during the war Saddam started with Kuwaite. "They basicly sold their soul to the devil when they agreed to give Saddam approval of every report that went out". CNN is embedden in the green zone and protected by our soldiers so that is why they are only showing what is going on in Baghdad.
What he and Congressman Hunter have done is petition Defense Secretary Rumsfield to get CNN disenbedded from Iraq. Who's side of the war is CNN on? They don't want this to be a political opportunity to produce propoganda for the libral media. They are also going to Haster. Frank made the suggestion about "why not making this a big fight against the main stream media bias". He felt that the majority of American's would suport them, when the media is pulling against our men in the militry.
I guess CNN said it was a close decision but the truth is it was not even close, not a gray area for them, and they felt it was right. It is horrific and aweful to our military. Camp Penalton marines have paid dearly with their lives and their families are outraged.
So what they want is to get CNN disenbedded from Iraq. Why should CNN be there, paid for by us and protected by our soldiers when they have crossed the line and picked sides against us. Ted Turner has publicly admitted he doesn't know what side he is on. They seem to be using this to insite Americans to pull out of Iraq and support the Democate agenda against the war.
This is a very lively discussion since now he has people who feel what CNN did is right...how do they justify this? Very interesting. Oh, by the way Fox is also embedded over there. Let's see what they do with this. I am so glad we sent our e-mails.
Now he wants to talk to veterans and what they think of this. KKLA is in California and the phone number is 1-888-995-KKLA.Last edited by Par77; 25-10-2006 at 02:26 AM.

Continued from KKLA
Very interesting, Frank (on KKLA) had a soldier on who had done a tour of duty in Iraq, and he said that there were about 30-40 of these kinds of insurgency videos being sold on the black market, like music videos.
They use them to show how victorious they are. This young man said they found some of them when their patrols confiscated articles during arrests. In inspecting the confiscated material, they watched them, and saw their buddies being killed. He said how demoralizing it was.
He also said that the only channel they can view at the barricks is CNN. "When you sit down in the mess hall to eat all you see is CNN". THEY CAN"T CHANGE THE CHANNEL. CNN is on every station in Iraqi, for the military, on a 50" TV screen.
When he was told Fox News was over there "why didn't they watch that he said "It says "DO NOT CHANGE THE CHANNEL""
Aarron called these "snuff flicks and CNN should be held to account for being accessories to murder" "Our troops are fighting for us and they have the nerve to put it on TV!" He was very upset.
CNN is on the side of the Islamic fascits and putting our troops at risk. CNN is on the wrong side of America and the Democatic party is pulling for our defeat and want us to loose!
CNN ran this all over the world multiple times...rubbing it right in the faces of our military!
I quess we will see what happens. I am sure this will not be the last of this.
