Even if revalue does not happen soon, as everyone would like, there will not be a reprint, period. Show us the data of your COO contact on reprinting, I would love to know how anyone would come to the conclusion a reprint is going to change anything, good or bad. With current value it would not be worth reprinting, and at your supposed scenario, there is no possible way an exchange would not be allowed without total all out economic meltdown. You and your experts opinions combined are hardly worth commenting on at this point, so sell off your 25K dinar and move on.

    Good luck to all, Mike
Sorry but you are propogating a myth, The kuwaiti dinar never dropped in value. It was frozen on the market. The only ones who got KD where the people on the kuwaiti streets. I doubt you or I had a chance to go to kuwait when Saddam was burning it down. I learned this after I bought dinar. Now you just learned it.

he just said "if I had listened to every financial expert when Kuwait dinar dropped like a rock, I would be broke today and out of business." this would indicate to me he DID get in on the KD. As for you if this is such a bad investment why are you still here instead of out somewhere trying to sell your dinar? My offer is still open, pm me and I'll see what kind of price we can come up with for some or all of your dinar.

    Funny,

Now I know you are way off base, so you are saying I was not able to purchase Kuwiati dinar at .10 per dinar? And although I was not there at that moment in time, my business associates were, and they are both millionaires because of devaluation, so you are going to say there was no devaluation? Well friend, you said a mouthful there, and with a foot in it at the same time. LOL You have a lot to learn and you had better look elsewhere for you are a lost sole in this forum.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Not calling anyone a liar. Gee this place looks like some other places Ive seen. Someone posts something and they are quicly bashed. This myth has been propagated by dealers all along. I beleived it too until I found out the truth.

The third series was issued on 20 February 1980 after the accession to the throne of Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, at that time in denominations of ¼, ½, 1, 5 and 10 dinar. The new 20 dinar banknote was introduced on 9 February 1986. As a result of the state of emergency after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, this series was ruled invalid with effect from 30 September 1991.

Kuwaiti dinar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Why do you think this happened? Do you think that maybe Saddam had his hand in the bag? Do you think that Kuwait was going to leave all the looted money on the market? Are you guys all noobies here?

    Funny,

Now how did I know this would go right over your head? This is significant event as finally Iraqi's are getting fed up with being used as pawn at their expense, not the outsiders who are insurgents. Just as we have seen many Iraqi's start turning in suspected terrorists, the tide is turning, and if you had a clue, you would know that many regions are already in relative peace, just look at Kurdistan region to see what the rest of Iraq will be soon, in peace.

    Good luck to all, Mike
