The experts are very divided on this. I'd say if you can afford to put a few dollars away and forget about it it's well worth investing. As it's worth is 0.001 to the dollar even if it goes up to 0.002, 500,000 ID will have doubled your investment of $500 to $1000. :D Look around, do your homework.

Interesting,
As with all investments, there are risks, and some of the questions posted here are good ones. As to the current situation in Iraq, no doubt, everyone is wondering what will happen next, and this is the point, there is a huge interest in what is happening in Iraq for many reasons, and this is great news in the long term for anyone investing in dinar.
Is there any risk? In my experience, very little, and I did quite well with Kuwaiti dinar in last war. Yes, there were differences, but in my research, this should be an even better upside than Kuwait rise in currency value after war. Will Iraq war ever end, no, and once people understand and accept that these wars between regions are as old as the oil in the ground, but this makes no difference, except to westerners who have not lived with this for hundreds of centuries.
The bottom line is this, OIL. No matter what else happens, it is all about money, and OIL is money. There is no richer oil reserves, and with Iraq sitting on the second largest reserves, and sitting on the best OIL anywhere as far as cost to refine, this adds up to a huge winfall for all those invested in Iraq. Wait for the news developing on small private oil companies which are slipping in under the radar screen which are positioning themselves for huge profits, most of which will go to Iraq, so simply invest and watch the world do the rest.
So many things are happening which the average person is not privy to, so as you read all the data on emerging situation in Iraq, remember, you won't hear about the issues which will escalate currency until it has already happened. It is all about OIL, always was, always will be, and with rising rates soon to hit $100. a barrel, there will be enough oil in Iraq to pay each terrorist not to be a terrorist. As most know, this is the only reason there are terrorists, someone is paying them to be a terrorist, and sadly, most are paid a pultry sum to blow themselves up, so imagine if you paid them more not to kill themselves. Think it can't happen? Think again, it is all about OIL and MONEY.
Good luck to all, Mike

Good post Mike,
What sort of timescale are you thinking before there is even some movement? The country is certainly on the up and the newly elected government can only help this. Even the troops out there have taken to getting involved.
I've invested in 500,000 of the little beauties.

From there, the stage is set. Once this comfort level is achieved, we will see upward movement, and it has nothing to do with terrorists.

There were many differences, but the one thing that always separates the men form the boys is how big a set of you know what they have, as you mentioned. When you do your due diligence, you will see that the potential is even greater with Iraq dinar upswing, so all that is left is to go for it.
We are all gathered here for the same reason, to hopefully become more wealthy than before we met. All the friends we have made along the way makes it just that much better. What could be better than to look back and know that many are far better off than they were before PIPS, or any other opportunity uncovered through these forums.
Good luck to all, Mike

As to cost to ship to UK, this is soley dependent on whatever UPS charges as this is the carrier used when I get my orders, so it will depend on what the actual costs are as they do not try to earn extra on shipping. They are working on issue of larger orders last I heard, but they are expanding payment platforms.
