We brought home our adorable lab puppy a month ago. While we absolutely adore her, I'll admit the last few weeks have been tougher than expected with the housetraining, chewing, and basic obedience. I think professional training could really help us better communicate with our pup and set her up for success. Does anyone have a trainer they'd recommend for a 5 month old with no prior training? I'd love to hear any suggestions so I can get my enthusiastic furball back on track!

Oh man, I remember those puppy days all too well! Our family went through the same thing when we brought home our lab, Bailey. She was such a bundle of energy and mischief those first few months. The chewing and accidents around the house were so frustrating!
I totally agree that professional training is hugely beneficial for working through those common puppy behaviors. It not only teaches them manners and commands, but also helps you learn to better communicate with your pup.
If you're looking for a great trainer in the area, I recommend https://wasatchcaninecamp.com/dog-tr...pringville-ut/ We sent Bailey there for their 2 week board and train program. She came back like a whole new dog - so much more focused, obedient, and bonded with us. The trainers there use positive reinforcement methods to build confidence and trust. Bailey loved going to "summer camp" and I saw a big difference in her behavior afterwards.

I've heard great things about a trainer named Sarah at "Pawsitive Pup Training." She's fantastic with young pups.
